Dalia sighed, entering the dimly lit room. Having only the moons light shining through the window to guide her. She glanced to the side and saw Maria snoring quietly on her bed. Still wearing her white dress and red belt, looking picture perfect as always.

"Buenas noches mi amiga." She whispered, removing the hairpins from her hair. Then pulling the side of the blanket over her sleeping body. Dalia smiled softly, walking towards the window to shut it.

But something else caught her eye, in the sidewalk just below her stood a dark silhouette of a man. Dalia raised an eyebrow, crawling out the window and hesitantly walking up to the railing.

"Hello?"

Dalia silently groaned at the sound of the voice, immediately recognized who it belonged to. She turned around trying to slowly and silently sneak back to the window.

"Hey!" He called again, now directly at her. Dalia cursed under her breath, turning again and walking back to the railing.

"...hola."

Riff grinned widely, looking up at her and awkwardly waving. She held back a giggle and waved back trying to look unhappy. "Mind if I come up?"

Dalia bit her lip, stuck between the two answers. If she said yes, Bernardo or Maria could wake up and see him. If she said no, then he would either come up still or leave. Which was not ideal.

"I'm taking silence as a yes." Riff smirked, as she snapped out of her thoughts. "Now hold on." Dalia started, as he ignored her. Reaching for the first level's gate and pulling himself up then over the rail.

"I never said yes!" Dalia exclaimed, as he continued to ignore her and began running up the many flights of stairs. "Are you ever going to listen to me?!" She yelled down again, now unable to see him.

"When pigs fly, doll."

She looked down at her feet, to now see him on the last flight of stairs. Which had a locked gate to separate them. Dalia smirked, getting down on her hands and knees while staring down at him.

Riff grinned, going on his knees on the stairs. "You going to let me in?" She chuckled, leaning closer to him. "No."

"Come on doll."

"How many times do I have to say this! Don't call me doll!"

"You like it." Riff smirked, she scoffed. "Aye, aye, aye! You really are stupid!" He shook his head, slipping his fingers through the grate. "You know I'm right."

"Riff..."

"Yeah doll?"

"Why are you here?"

"Ain't it obvious?"

"Clearly not." She said through her teeth. "I wanted to see you." Riff smiled, resting his chin on the last step with his arms to comfort it.

"Which we talked about, you can't do that anymore."

"No, you talked, then left me in a hallway before I could respond." He interrupted, she rolled her eyes. "Same thing."

"No, not same thing. Now you're going to listen, and I'm going to talk." Riff instructed, pointing up at her. Dalia bit her lip to hide her frustration, pushing some hair out of her face.

"You gotta give me a shot. You can't say you don't feel anything." He smiled, wrapping the ends of his fingers around Dalias through the holes of the grate.

"Riff...you've known me for 2 days. Why do you care so much?" He shrugged, as she leaned closer down to him.

"Call it a good feeling." Her eyes followed him, Riff moved from the stairs to the railing. Jumping up on it and reaching his arms up to the fence that stood in front of her. His hands just reached the bottom of the thin metal poles.
