Luca's Angel

Chapter 3

Her dad came out the kitchen without saying a word he led Luca and his men to his office.
"Mom what's going on?"
" Its nothing dear don't worry"
Kiah could tell her parents were hiding something.
"Mom am going to the bathroom"
She made her way to bathroom and did a U turn and went straight to her dad's office door. She was not the type to ease drop on other persons conversation but she had no choice in this case.

"Mr.Lorenzo please if you just give me a week"
"A week try one minute"
Matteo laughed, Domenico just looked with his stone cold face.
"I need my cash or your life the choice is yours"
Kiah grasped at the door. They all turned and look towards the door. Domencino opened it immediately and pulled Kiah in.
"What do we have here ?" Matteo said.
"Please don't hurt her she is my daughter"
Luca tilted his head.
"Dad what's going on?"
"Nothing sweetie"
"How sweet ... well you see dad here made some bad investment and was neck deep in debts. He borrowed money from me to clear those debts and his time has run out  so am here to collect"
She grasp and covered her mouth.
"Mr.Lorenzo please"
" No Samuel begging is not going to work I have waited long enough my cash or your life"
"No!" Kiah shouted and began to cry helplessly.
"No you can't do that there must be another way" she began historically.
Luca narrowed his eyes.
"Well if I may interject..." Matteo began. 'What is this fool up to now' Luca thought. He noticed the mischievous gleam in his eyes as he carried on.
"Boss you seem to be without a maid at the moment due to your bad temper and this chica here can fill that spot until dad here comes up with your money she will work for free ofcourse"
Domencino nodded in agreement.
" No I will not allow my daughter to work for you"
" You are in no position to make any decision the ball is in my court and I will do as I please. Furthermore, chocolattè would you like to be my maid until your dad clears his debt or should i take his life right here and now?"
"No please don't hurt him i will work for you please don't hurt my dad"
Luca smirked , he loved hearing people beg him not to take their lives it was like music to his ears.
"Ok then I will be in touch"
With that they all left.
Her mom came into the office, she knew about the debt from day one. Her dad explained all that just transpired  her mom did not want her to work for him but she also did not want to lose the love of her life.
Her mom thought of  pros and cons if their current situation and began to cry. There was no other way out of this. Until her husband came up with the money Kiah had to be a mafia maid.
