Yoongi tapped his pen on his desk, reading through articles from the previous year. The information that was in them wasn't exactly wrong, but slightly unsettling whenever Felix was mentioned.

It was true that he was at the scene of the crime. It was true that he was arrested. It was also true that he pleaded innocent.

But nobody outside of HYBE and JYPE knew that he was innocent.

"Come in!"

Yoongi looked up at the knock, watching Jin enter the office. Hoseok was right on his tail. "So, about going to JYPE..."

"We're going to JYPE, right?"

"Yeah." Jin took a peek at Yoongi's computer screen. "It's probably our best bet. Got7 will be there to help you guys too."

"What about Soonyoung and Jihoon?" Hoseok asked. "Shouldn't they be there too? And Soohyung and Jiwoo?"

Jin's face seemed to fall. "We should probably try to keep the groups smaller. Let's just go with you guys."

He promptly left the office, leaving Hoseok and Yoongi on their own in the room.

"Is he... is he going to tell us when this is happening?" The older asked, just staring at the open door.

Hoseok shrugged. "I think it's in three days. I don't know, I'll just ask him later."

"Alright."

The two sort of stayed in silence for a few awkward seconds before Hoseok asked a question.

"Why was he acting so weird about adding the others?"

"I don't really know," Yoongi said. "Maybe it has something to do with Project WOOZI. After all, he didn't know that Jihoon was going to say anything."

"That shouldn't really be a problem, though."

"Then I don't know. Whatever, I'm going to finish this article."

Hoseok slipped out of the door, shutting it behind him. Yoongi sighed, looking over at his screen.

He saw an email notification in his inbox.

Yoongi sighed, opening the email to read it through.

okay i know i should nawt be using my work email for stuff like this but whatever. so you know how jihoon told yall the entire story? so i think jin found out and i doubt that he wanted that so now he's sort of punishing me and him? he's also not really letting jiwoo do anything, and he might do the same with soohyung idk
anyways i just wanted to know what's going on with you and hoseok and if jin's acting weird. i don't exactly know why he wants the whole woozi thing to be a secret, but maybe it's because it's technological hacking a person? idk idk idk

Well, Yoongi is completely right. He forwards the email to Hoseok, adding an "I told you so", before replying.

jin was acting sort of weird tbh. he didn't let us include you four in the trip to jype (which he didn't even tell us when it was), so probably? he doesn't seem to be really angry at us, though, so i don't think he's going to give us any punishment of sorts.

i mean, you and hoseok are probably the most successful investigators we have, so there's no point in stopping a literal MURDER TRIAL conviction thing. please find something good at jype, and i'll try to diffuse the situation with soohyung. still don't really know the big deal. y'all deserved to know.

Yoongi watches another email notification popping up, which is confirmation about the time of the JYPE trip. Still, he doesn't open it. He only has a small idea of why Jin isn't the happiest, but it's not the whole picture.
