Yoongi wasn't actually in court for the beginning of the case, but he could tell when Johnny, Jaehyun, and Jinki exited the courtroom that things weren't looking up for them. He scanned Jaehyun's mind quickly. This is not going to go well.
"At least we have a case?" he said, walking beside the two attorneys.
"Maybe," Jaehyun muttered. "I can already tell this is going to be a national case- I mean, you saw the coverage last year, right?"
"Right."
"We might be able to pull through this with sheer luck," Johnny added. "If you have any loose ends to tie, then now is the time to do so."
Yoongi hummed as they walked to the lobby. Hoseok was standing there, looking up when he heard the footsteps around the corner. "So?"
"We're opening an empty case," Jinki sighed. "I really hope you have some sort of lead you're exploring that can help us at this rate."
"Well..." Hoseok trailed off.
Yoongi's eyes widened. "You have something? Why didn't you say anything?"
"I wasn't completely sure, but I've got a drafted email to Jaebeom."
"You have an email to Jaeb- Hoseok." Yoongi placed his hands on the younger's shoulders. "You have an amazing mind, now use it."
Hoseok stared back blankly, just blinking.
Johnny sighed. "Send the email, damnit!"
"Okay, okay," Hoseok replied, fishing his phone out of his pocket. "Okay, I'm sending it."
