"There you are!"
Yoongi and Hoseok both smiled shyly as they sat down. It had been a while since they had met up with any of their friends, let alone Namjoon and Jimin, so it was good to see them.
Jimin, who had exasperatedly said his first exclamation, sighed happily. "You two have been busy, haven't you?"
Hoseok shrugged. "I mean, I guess. We had an appointment with... a certain person the other day."
"What case are you guys even working on?" Namjoon asked, curiosity getting the best of him.
Yoongi carefully closed his hand over Hoseok's mouth, seeming to not trust the younger. "It's top secret. We can't exactly say anything besides it handles murder."
Hoseok broke free from Yoongi's hand. "I wasn't going to tell him about F–"
"Yes, you were. You almost did just now." Yoongi shot him a death glare before turning back to Namjoon and Jimin. "Things are kind of messy at the moment."
"Aren't all cases?"
"I guess, but... there's more we have to take into account with this one."
Hoseok nodded. "Mr. Bang almost shut down our case altogether because we were in a ditch for a while. Thankfully, we were saved by me."
"You made the move without Mr. Bang's permission, though."
"How else were we supposed to get things done?"
Yoongi shook his head, unimpressed. Jimin cleared his throat, beginning to speak. "While I love talking about murder, I'd rather do it over a cup of coffee. Let's go order, okay?"
Namjoon couldn't disagree with his boyfriend.
