Jaebeom walked into his office, where Hoseok was already waiting for him. "Okay, so two pieces of good news. Mr. Bang is letting us continue with the case, and I finally have the burner for the USB."
"Oh, really?" Hoseok quickly sidelined the joy that he felt being able to continue to prove Felix's innocence, instead leaning over to look at the computer that Jaebeom was sliding the USB into.
"Okay, let's pray that this doesn't corrupt..." he clicked on the USB folder. "Okay."
The folder featured multiple videos, most of which were locked. Still, they could see some crusty thumbnail footage, and it was easy to point out a few things.
"This is Felix," Jaebeom muttered, cursor hovering over the former high school student's face. "This is JYP, and then..." his eyes widened as they travelled across the screen. "Holy shit."
"What is it?"
Jaebeom hovered his cursor over one of the locked video's thumbnails. "That has to be a dead body."
"Oh," Hoseok responded. His eyebrows came together and he squinted. "Oh," he repeated, for lack of a better term.
Jaebeom clicked on one of the videos, but a password box came up. "I might have to get you or Mark to run back to that storage unit for me. I have no idea what the password could be."
"At least we have something," Hoseok muttered back.
Jaebeom nodded, removing the USB from the computer. "I'm going to take this to Mr. Bang."
Hoseok nodded, watching the older walk out before he followed behind. Maybe, just maybe, this case wouldn't be a dead end after all.
