Hoseok arrived in the meeting room at exactly 3:58, ignoring the glare that Yoongi shot him as he stumbled in.

"Can you maybe, I don't know, not be late to the most important meeting of this case?"

Hoseok shrugged, sheepish. "Whoops? Look, I'm here, and Chan isn't."

"Did you not see him in the lobby?" Yoongi groaned. "He's just getting checked in."

"Oh."

Yoongi looked as though he would scold further, but seemingly decided against it. Hoseok was very satisfied to know that.

"Don't think this is the last you'll hear about this."

"Can you not read my mind at a time like this?" Hoseok sighed before picking up a pen from the table in front of them and clicking it. He clicked the end a few more times, just to spite Yoongi further, before they spotted Soonyoung leading a figure to the interrogation (interview) room they were in.

When Chan walked in, he seemed uneasy, but looked around and relaxed a bit. It seemed as though he had been expecting one of those rooms with the two-way mirrors watching. If anything, this was just an office.

"Bang Chan, correct?" Yoongi asked.

Chan nodded, taking a seat across from him and Hoseok. "That would be me."

"We're just going to ask you a few questions," Hoseok said, glancing at Yoongi's notepad with everything that the teachers had needed to answer. "It's nothing too serious. Obviously, you are sworn to confidentiality with the contract that Soon– Agent Kwon had you sign. If you breach that contract, then that's when the problems start. Teachers have told us that you're not one to break rules, however."

Chan ran his hands up and down his thighs, nodding slowly. Yoongi chuckled at the gesture, readjusting his usual proper work posture to a more relaxed, casual one. "There's nothing to worry about."

The questions that Chan answered had very similar answers to what the teachers had said, though Hoseok had intentionally left an additional one for last.

"Was Felix ever unable to hang out? Like, maybe he was not around for lunch or not available after school. Anything like that?"

Furrowing his eyebrows, Chan slowly shook his head. "He was always with me for lunch unless he had Drama. I'd watch him in the theatre, otherwise. As for after school, if he was gone, it would be for no longer than... I'd say ten minutes?"

"Not long enough to go to and from the scene, right?" Hoseok muttered to Yoongi, who scribbled something in his notebook. "None of them were close to the school either."

"Right." Yoongi looked up at Chan. "You're all good for now. That's all. Just in case you hadn't read the contract, which I doubt, you are eligible to be called back for an appointment. If you have no questions, then Agent Kwon will show you out."

"No, nothing. I'm glad to be of any help." Chan bowed respectfully before turning to the door, which Soonyoung opened immediately.

Once the door shut behind him, Hoseok fully turned to Yoongi. "So he was never at the crime scene, was he?"

"Not at all." Yoongi chewed on his bottom lip, adding one last thing to his notebook.
