"We're bringing this to court soon."
Hoseok took up, staring at Soohyung. "How can you just stand in my doorway and say that so calmly?"
"I was calm? Oh, sorry." Soohyung cleared her through. "We're bringing our train wreck of a case to fucking court and we still don't have anyone to incarcerate instead of Felix. Is that more like it?"
Hoseok sat back down, sighing. "Yes. We have to figure out why we can't find anything. Whoever's hidden and hiding it isn't dead."
"Obviously," Soohyung muttered. "We have nothing. We've done all types of scrounging around and we still have no idea who L.Y.B actually is."
"Wait." Hoseok thought back to where they collected all of their evidence from. They had practically turned those hallways in the principal's office upside down with how thoroughly they went through. "What about the storage unit? Maybe there's something that we're missing from there."
"Maybe," Soohyung said, but she didn't elaborate. "I don't know. All I know is that this entire case is going to go to shit and we might actually have it called off at this rate."
Hoseok didnt want to agree, but she was right. They needed to find something- anything- that could quite literally help their case.
He drafted up an email to Jaebeom, but didn't send it.
