Hoseok had to admit that with the near death scare (Jin didn't make it sound important, but Yoongi scanned his mind to find out that Jihoon could've died), the court atmosphere had dwindled.
Still, if there was anyone who still had that courtroom energy, it was Soohyung. She shot a glare at Jihyo as she walked in, situating herself in her seat next to Jiwoo to present their evidence. "Your Honour, we have finally uncovered video evidence from the assistant principal's room."
Jihyo's eyes widened slightly, but Hoseok was able to catch it as Jiwoo started speaking.
"Not only have we had this picture from the office," Jiwoo said, pointing at the picture's place on the desk in the video, "but we have also uncovered audio from the two of them meeting. In fact, they met on multiple occasions throughout the entire school year. Take a listen."
Sure enough, when Jiwoo pressed play, you could clearly hear Jihyo and the assistant principal speaking about L.Y.B. Jihyo seemed to have a grip on who he was, unsurprisingly.
"Nice," Jin muttered.
Soohyung waited until the video was done to speak, which was new. "As you can see, Jihyo seems to know our murderer, L.Y.B. I think it's appropriate to assume that the two of them were in some form of contact with each other during the murders last year, don't you think?"
Jihyo looked like she was shooting daggers through Soohyung's skull. "I have no idea who you're talking about," she said, as though the evidence wasn't right in front of her.
Yoongi sighed from beside Hoseok. "What a liar."
"Just wait for it," Hoseok offered. "Karma's going to bite her in the ass."
