Previously:
The figure was wearing a black skin-tight bodysuit with no sleeves. There was a knife holder around its waist. Glancing up at its face. I noticed he had short black hair, it was as straight as an arrow. He stared at me with blood-red eyes. They reminded me of Eris' and Shigarakis' eyes. His skin was super pale, he looked sickly. There were dark purple eye bags under his eyes.
My vision blurred in and out. It took everything I had in me to focus on his hand. Finish my training. I just need to finish my training. Giggling, I glanced at his face, "Blood." I managed to gasp out, before slashing his hand with my knife. It was a quick swift movement.
He tried to yank his hand away, but I had already grabbed onto his wrist with my other hand. Using all of my strength I held his hand there. I touched his fresh wound waiting for it to start bleeding. A few seconds passed and I felt it under my fingertips. Glancing down I noticed something, he was bleeding but it wasn't red... no, it was black. Was my mind playing tricks on me? Suddenly, my fingertips started to burn. Worse than the rope. It was such an intense burn my whole body jerked back, instinctively I let out a scream.
My jerk back took a ton of air out of me. I started coughing. Desperately trying to get air into my lungs. I was overwhelmed. The adrenaline rush in me was just a spark, trying to keep me alive. Still I was laughing, so much, so loudly that you could probably hear me from a mile away. My vision was a blur, my head muddied. But worst of all, I felt elated.
Continued....
Suddenly there was a thud next to me. As if someone landed next to me. My mind instantly screamed Hero. Before I even got the chance to look over at who it was, I watched as the guy in front of me burst into bright blue flames. He jumped back from the sudden attack. But he was already on fire. He started screaming as he went down and started to roll. Obviously it wasn't helping him. The smell of roasted flesh filled up my nose, making me gag.
"Jinx?" A very familiar hoarse voice exclaimed.
There was a hand on my shoulder then a figure kneeled down right next to me. The hand was warm. I giggled at the warmth, my attention was taken away from the desperate attempts to get any air inside my lungs.. I knew those flames, they were Flameboys. Glancing at the figure next to me I noticed the purple scars on his arm. A rush of relief washed over me. Giving me a chance to actually take in some air. To my disgust I inhaled the smell of burnt flesh. But at the very least I finally got some air into my lungs.
I giggled watching as the hero in front of me rolled around on the ground trying to put out the flames. It was a funny sight, though I felt a bit of pity for the guy.
"Dammit you're really beat up." hissed Flameboy under his breath as he lifted up my arm with the cat scratch on it. I didn't even realize he was checking me for wounds.
Taking a moment to really look at Flameboy, he looked really pissed off. But at the same time seemed a little concerned as he looked at the wound on my arm. I giggled at his reaction. He ignored my giggling fit as he checked my other arm for any wounds. Heat was radiating off of him, it was so warm. I didn't even realize I was cold until now.
I shifted myself up, trying to find something to lean on. Just sitting up in itself was painful. My stomach and side ached. I already knew my side was bruised considering the blows I took from Quick-Think I can make an educated guess that my stomach was also bruised. I just hope not as badly.
Lazily, I reached for my shirt, pulling it up just a little. Revealing dark purple and green skin. Definitely bruised. Giggling, I caught Flameboys attention. He glanced down at what I was focusing on.
