23 - Silence the Screams

Knocking snapped me out of whatever I was thinking. Glancing around the bedroom I noticed some knives embedded into the wall. One of the pillows that used to rest on the bed was now just feathers and torn up fabric on the floor. Guess I owed Dabi a pillow... and some money for the wall. Sighing, I walked over towards the knocking. The sound of clicking caught me off guard as I opened up the door.

Dabi stood in front of me, now dressed in his usual, "Hey the warp gates open..." his voice died out as he looked me over for a moment. A smirk appearing on his face, "The outfit suits you."

Glancing down I noticed that I had changed into the villain outfit that Dabi left for me. I wore a skin-tight black leotard that left my shoulders exposed. Covering the right side of my figure from head to foot was a red fabric. A leather corset held the fabric in place with the leotard. Leather, fingerless gloves extended three quarters of the way up my arm, leading to a matching leather choker barely visible beneath the red hood which covered my long black hair. A pair of black stockings stopped mid thigh meeting with a pair of steel-toed, high-heeled, leather boots that reached just below my knees. The outfit didn't have that feeling of built up rage in it, but it was still my villain outfit nonetheless.

"What about the warp gate?" I questioned, snapping his attention back to what he was saying a moment ago.

"Right, warp gates here for the mission." he said, gesturing towards the living room.

I nodded, "One minute." I stated before walking back into the bedroom.

Quickly I went over to retrieve the knives embedded into the wall. Sliding those into the hidden knife holders, I walked over and grabbed the extra knives sitting in one of the nightstands. I almost cut myself finding those ones earlier. He could've at least warned me they were there. Nonetheless I also slid them into the holders. The knife Toga had given me caught my attention as I stopped at the doorway once again. Sighing I picked it up, pocketing it in my sleeve before leaving the room.

The clicking caught my attention once again as I walked into the living room past Dabi. Glancing down I noticed that it was from the heels on the boots. Quite inconvenient for stealth missions, but I guess they look cool at least? I paused in front of the warp gate for a moment. This is for the kid... who knows how chaotic this will be...

A hand on my shoulder startled me, "You know you don't have to do this if you don't feel up to it." Dabi explained, taking his hand off my shoulder as he walked to my side.

"Yes I do." I snapped. I took a deep breath before walking through the purple swirly warp gate.

Exiting the warp gate I entered a rather talkative bar. Usually walking into the bar consisted of a couple people quietly chatting or just barely nobody at all. But today was different as instead of the usual quiet it was loud with commotion. Toga was basically bouncing off the walls as she switched around to who she was talking to, which seemed to be every few seconds. Compress and Spinner were having a rather loud conversation with Twice butting in occasionally. Kurogiri was pointing a few things out to Toga when she'd pop over to talk to him, otherwise he was explaining something to Shigaraki who was wearing all of the dead hands on him. Before a big mission jitters I guess... Glancing up, Kurogiri signaled Dabi and I to come over. The clicking of my heels was muffled by the chattering in the bar as I walked over to them.

"Ketuski, Dabi, we're going to be giving a brief explanation of what you two will be doing." Kurogiri explained as he glanced between the two of us.

"Go in, grab the kid and get out." I stated, that was all we were doing. That was my goal and that's what was going to happen.

"If only it were that easy." Kurogiri chuckled slightly, "Clearly as you know the Yakuza-" I glared at him, "Pardon, Eri will be your guys main goal, but just jumping in won't be as easy as it sounds. See the heroes are going to be-" Kurogiris voice kinda just drowned itself out in my head as he went over the logistics of the plan.
