Majority of the night I had been restless. The burning image of Narig Wonders repeated over and over in my head. It was almost as annoying as Eris screams that had been haunting me. Is it honestly too much to ask for some peace and quiet?

Scratching at my door caught my ear. Groaning, I rolled over, holding my pillow over my ears as I tried to ignore the damn cat. Despite my best efforts to ignore it, the scratching only continued. Apparently it was too much to ask for.

After a few minutes of listening to the scratching I gave up on the idea of falling back asleep. Groggily standing up from bed I felt the complete opposite from well rested. Opening up the door I noticed the black cat sitting there. He was just staring at me. Rather intently I might add.

"You have fun tearing up my door?" I muttered glaring at him.

He meowed before walking down into the hallway, his tail straight up the entire time. Pausing midway, he looked back at me meowing again. Joy, he wanted me to follow him. Sighing I did so.

The living room was casted in bright natural light coming from the windows. I rubbed my eyes in annoyance. It was way too damn bright. The cat trotted over to the back door. Meowing he sat by the door. Sighing I walked over to the door, opening it up a cold gust of wind blew into the house. The cat seemed to meow in protest, but he didn't leave.

"Look, this is your only chance to get out. It's freaking freezing." I stated.

He simply sat there.

Closing the door I glared at him, "What do you want then?"

Standing up he walked in a circle before sitting back down and meowing at me. I was about to walk away and ignore him when I noticed the empty food bowl next to his tail.

"Great, you're hungry." I muttered under my breath as I picked up the food bowl and headed into the kitchen.

As I filled the bowl with some tuna I noticed the time on the oven. It was 8:27am. It wasn't that early in the morning, so why the heck hasn't Amora fed this damn thing yet?

Setting the bowl back into place I made my way into the hallway. First I knocked on Amoras door, but there was no response. Acknowledging the fact she may still be asleep I sighed. She was up late last night...

Crossing the hall I noticed that Eris' door was cracked open. Gently pushing it open Eri caught my eye as she sat on the little desk in her room. The door creaked, catching her attention.

She smiled up at me, "Miss Jinx!"

"Just Jinx kid, just Jinx." I muttered, still groggy from my lack of sleep.

She nodded, seeming to remember me saying this before.

"What are you working on?" I questioned glancing at the notebook she had open on her desk.

"Practicing." she responded as she turned her attention back to the notebook.

Messy letters and sentences were sprawled across the pages. It seems Eri was practicing her writing.

"I'm behind." she mumbled, "Mr. Kurogiri said I had to try writing a paragraph a day to show him my progress."

I chuckled. She was worried Kurogiri would be upset if she didn't finish her homework. Kurogiri assigned her this before Overhaul took her back and blew up my place. Honestly I was surprised she remembered.

"Kurogiri will understand why it's late." I reassured, "He'll be happy to know you practiced."

She nodded, seeming focused on her writing.

"I'll leave you to it then." I chuckled exiting the room.

Walking back into the main room I noticed Amora walk back into the house shutting the door behind her. Her dark brown hair was put into a lazy ponytail. Some strands of her hair fell in front of her face. Her cheeks were covered in grease as well as her outfit, which were dark blue overalls and an auburn orange shirt. To my surprise she wasn't wearing gloves as her hands were also covered in grease. She was wiping them off with a cloth as she walked into the living room.
