Chapter 11

Oikawa Tooru was by no mean a dumb human being. He considered himself to be an incredibly capable human being, so when he came home and saw the door to his house slightly ajar. He could already feel it in his bones that something was wrong.

He knew something was wrong because there was no way Kuroo Tetsurou would ever leave the door open by accident, and after the last door incident Oikawa had nagged Iwaizumi and taught him how to close and open a door the correct way. So why was it that the door was slightly open now?

Oikawa breathed in through his nose as he tried to gather his thoughts.

Someone broke into the house.
Someone left the door open by accident.
HE left the door open because of how stressed he has been lately.

A was too anticlimactic and B was too obvious so he went with C instead.

Opening the door he slammed it open for a more dramatic flare. Only to instantly regret it once he came into contact with three sets of spare eyes directed at him. The mixture of emotions was too much for him that he couldn't help but call out. "What the actual fuck."

In front of them stood a surprised Oikawa. His mouth was slacked open as he stared at the three men in front of him only to stare at Kyoutani who mind you was still very much naked through this whole ordeal.

Tooru pointed at the naked mer,"Is that who I think it is..." His eyes were comically wide as he kept staring at him.

Iwaizumi nodded stiffly before also pointing at the man behind him,"This is Kyoutani."

The younger mer growled in protest,"My name is not Kyoutani."

"Well, do you have a better idea on what they should call you??"

The mer sighed once he received no reply,"Kyoutani came to apologize. And he needs a place to stay."

Kuroo facepalmed before groaning out in annoyance,"Ugh."

Sensing it Kyoutani glared over at him,"Does that bother you human?"

"Oh no of course not. The more the better." Kuroo rolled his eyes.

Kyoutani twisted his head in thought,"That's weird, your words contradict your body language."

"It's cause it's sarcasm you idio-"

"Anyway", Oikawa cut in,"you can stay but you can only stay here in the living room." Oikawa didn't know how to feel about having the mer roam around and have free range over everything so he decided that the couch would be fine.

"I want to be with Iwaizumi." Kyoutani stated.

"You know Iwa-chan's name?" The mer took a second before nodding.

"While you were teaching him the human language he would come to visit me and teach me as well. He told me that you humans named him Iwaizumi. It's an acceptable name for him."

Oikawa's eyes twitched,"Uh huh, ok."

Tooru shook his head,"Also back to the question, you can't go to sleep with Iwa-chan."

"And why not?" The mer growled.

"Because he sleeps with me and I don't know how I feel having two mer's in my room. So you get the couch and that's final."

"But-"

Iwaizumi let out a warning bark which made Kyoutani stay silent almost instantly.

Hmm, looks like we know who leads between the two of them. Of course I wouldn't expect less of my Iwa-chan.
