A month passed. It was a well enjoyed summer with both the mers and humans coexisting in their house. Kyoutani seemed to like living with Yahaba as did Shigeru, and because of this both the mer and human continued to live together. Their relationship, although mostly sexual, slowly started to develop into something more.
Iwaizumi kept living with Oikawa in the Kuroo residence.
The trio would go to different places with Tetsurou mostly third wheeling the whole time. And although it was incredibly frustrating for him, he knew they were happy and that was all that mattered so he would just stick his nose on his phone and ignore the problem. Not that it was a problem for him, but most would see it as such.
Sighing, Oikawa carried the last bit of fishing bait towards the boat.
"Is there a reason we are doing this again?"
Tooru wiped some sweat off his forehead with his palm and looked over at Shigeru who was crouched on the boat fixing the engine. "Look," Yahaba stood up,"last time we went fishing it didn't go so well..."
"But!" He tapped the boat,"We received an upgrade and are now riding this baby."
Shigeru looked fondly at the boat.
It was a Power Catamaran Boat... a very beautiful and powerful one, mostly used for fishing. It had a sleek white trim and an engraved anchor. The thing cost quite a penny mostly out of Shigeru's savings who had also sold his car. His car was the only valuable thing he carried other than the cash he'd saved up of course.
Now though he had this beautiful boat who's engine roared like a beast.
Yahaba figured since he never used his car and was now having a... relationship of sorts with a mer, it would be smart to use his savings on a boat instead. Which was a huge benefit for not only the mers but also Oikawa who used it religiously. Shigeru didn't mind sharing if his baby would be put to good use.
Walking over Shigeru patted Tooru's shoulder and made his way to start the boat.

Stopping the vehicle the younger man made his way over to his "secret bait" which was just the same fish that was ground up as last time. This time though he put some shrimp in the ground up muck. He was pensive for a moment debating whether he should pour in a cup or two into the ocean water. "How much should we pour in this time?" He turned towards Oikawa.
He shrugged,"I don't know, how much do you usually pour in?"
Shigeru thought for a second,"Usually two cups, but we are using a net this time to get in more fish. So let's do 3 cups of goo."
