Noah's POV:
I silently left the table, returning to my office. I was worried about Izebel.
The nightmares. Her not eating...but the attack today was worrying me even more.
"Did you find out anything?" I ask as one of my men come into my room.
"No." He says. He's shaking. Good. He should be. I stand up and push him against the wall.
"Figure it out before I decide to cut of your useless fingers." I growl. He nods and quickly runs away when I let him go.
"What was that about?" Blake asks, walking into my office.
"They can't find who attacked Izebel today." I say turning away.
"We'll find them. And kill them." Blake whispers. "I'm worried about Izebel. There's something she's not telling us."
"I agree." I sigh, holding my head.
"So you agree we need to find out what happened? She's not going to tell us herself."
"Hell no!" I shout, turning to Blake. He stares at me confused. "No. We can't invade her privacy like that. She'll tell us when she's ready."
"To hell with that!" Blake snaps.
"What I say goes." I snap, crossing my arms. Blake rolls his eyes.
Yes, I'm the older sibling, but Blake and I always make decisions together. We work as a team.
"We want her to trust us. Otherwise she's never going to feel safe here." Blake doesn't say anything but I know he disagrees.
"Fine." Blake glares "But if her behavior gets worse..."
"Then I'll consider it." I snap. He rolls his eyes and stomps out. What's he going to do when he finds out about the nightmares?
A few hours later I decide to finish work. I go upstairs to make sure Izebel is alright, but she's not in her room.
Shit.
"Woah, why do you look like you've seen a ghost?" Ace asks walking upstairs.
"Izebel is..." I start.
"She's in the theater room." Ace chuckles. "Watching some idiotic movie." I breath a sigh of relief and then grab his arm.
"What?" He asks.
"You've been nothing but rude to her the moment she stepped into our home. Why?" He pulls away from me.
"For all we know she could be a scam." He snaps. Before I can say anything else he walks into his room, closing the door behind him.
"Watch out." I turn around and see Ivan carrying a sleeping Izebel up the stairs.
"You're smiling." Lex says passing by me. "That's rare." I roll my eyes and open Izebel's door as Ivan walks inside and gently sets her on the bed.
I watch as he pulls the sheets over her and then leans down to kiss her forehead. I smile.
Izebel POV:
It's been a week since the attack. A week of me on the verge of going insane.
School doesn't start for two weeks which means I've been stuck inside the house with five older brothers.
For the most part Ivan has been helping me reorganize my room.
But then sometimes they all disappear and im left to roam around the house by myself.
