I wanna say, a prison.

A small square room, not painted, cracked cement with iron bars ahed. I could see a lot of such rooms beside ours. We were five people inside. Me, Edward, 2 guys who already knew each other, and the girl they dumped on the floor just now. A beige bag covering her head. She was feisty, kicked and pushed whatever her cuffed hands and legs allowed. When they revealed her head, I admired her even more. Orangish messy curls, Black pants and navy blue full sleeve shirt, both so tight they clawed at her body. Thin, curvy, gorgeous, a mermaid imprisoned on land. She clenched her teeth and gave the two men who carried her a death stare.

We four were uncuffed by now, but we knew better not to escape; they had guns. They didn't uncuff her. She directed her sharp gaze at us.

Realisation. Softening.

"Uncuff me, what are you looking at." she barked at Edward.

"Was waiting for you."

"Could've warned me instead, you know."

"Didn't have the time or occassion."

"Busy getting kidnapped by Daddy, I see."

"Just as y-"

"What's the plan?" she cut him off.

He glanced at the camera inside our cell. She got up.

"Want some gum, lovely?" one of the men inside asked me, offering the pink wrapper to me.

"No. I'm good....thanks." I said.

"Very boring and old trick, Ben. Also is it something that works in prison? She looks like her first time here."

"Thea, come here, I wanna introduce you to her." Edward gestured toward me. I came closer.

"This is Alissia, my sister. Alissia, Thea."

"Ready to fight, Thea?"

"Nice to meet you too."

"Would've been great if it weren't some prison right?"

"Right."

"You don't forget who you meet in prison though." she winked. Edward had an expression that looked like she meant what she said. She gripped the iron bars and barked angry insults towards the guards.

"Um...I'm gonna need a little explanation here." I put both my hands up around my head.

"It's my Father, he kidnapped us. I'm so sorry Thea, I've wanted to apologise since they caught us on the mountain. I guess i was too ashamed to even talk to you after...this. But I'm gonna get us out." I could feel his desperate emotions leaking. "That's why I didn't come to talk to you in the coffee shop, I was worried something like this would happen and it did. But my emotions got the best of me in the end. Staying away from you became unbearable, i should've endured it though...He...he, my father want us to carry out a mission for him, me and Alissia, illegal of course, we denied and ran away as soon as we were old enough to understand what he actually does. That's why i moved to this town, he's... he's been searching for us ever since and he's finally found us. I'm so sorry it had to be now. I'd rather it be just me..... We're so getting out!" he punched the wall.

As much as I would've loved sitting in a corner thinking and processing all this, getting out of here was a priority so I shook my head, swatted my thoughts away and began observing my environment. There had to be something we could do to get out.

"You gotta wait for the right time babydoll, save your energy" the gum guy whispered.

I just stared at him.
