Months have passed since that night. I don't recall much that occurred after i was knocked unconscious.
Days flip by like pages of a book. My routine is the same as before yet i am completely changed. I sit absentmindedly at the coffee shop. It's like I'm functioning on auto pilot and not quite myself. I just going through life without actually going through it, like I'm not the one living my life but merely observing it. I'm sitting in the car but not driving it, nor have any command of where it takes me.

My heart mostly aches for Edward. I haven't seen him in so long it physically hurts. I'm so numb i haven't even been able to cry. I miss him. I miss him terribly. I worry about him, i worry where is he, if he's okay.

I witness Carina's wedding, beautiful bride walking down the aisle which finally makes me cry. Kriti and John break up, Maya opens her own cafe, i am graduating next month and decide to move to USA with my family.
More months pass, a year since the incident. I'm buying groceries, it's raining and i have my bright yellow umbrella — it makes me stand among other black umbrellas moving slowly about. My red boots splash water as i walk. This season is so alive, my heart feels rejuvenated.

Suddenly somebody taps my shoulder.

I am crying before i even know it.
I am crying like a baby.
I might have dropped my umbrella and groceries on the floor cause i am soaking wet and you can no longer tell tears from rainwater.
His umbrella splashes on the water below. He is hugging me.

Longing. Relief. Desire.

"Sorry i took so long. I had to take care of some matters first so something like that won't happen ever again, Thea....I have loved you from the very first day."

Our lips find each others, my whole being focused onto him, my hands embrace his cheeks as we travel through together in a deep never ending kiss among slow moving black umbrellas.
