Gellert starts packing a bag with clothes and his books, he didn't want to stay here, not while Albus hated his guts for something he didn't do. Merlin why did this always happen to him, just when he thought his life was going the way he wanted, something happens that turns it around. He changes his clothes and goes to throw them in the fire when he notices the vial hanging from a button he had hidden the pact under his jacket close to his chest.

He grabs it and holds it close, remembering what they made the pact for. Albus had to realize at some point that Gellert wouldn't want to hurt him, and couldn't even if he wanted to. He still couldn't stay without knowing how long that would be, he couldn't take seeing Albus around knowing that he hates him right now. He hated these emotions, and he knew he was running from them but he just needed to get away from Godric's hollow right now.

He puts the pact around his neck and finishes packing his bag and puts it over his shoulder. He leaves a note for his aunt and fights with himself on making a note for Albus but does. He just tells him everything, not even sure if he would ever come looking for him. He leaves them on the desk and jumps out his window, his first stop was his fathers to make sure an accident that one of his correspondences mentioned one of his letters actually happened to his father, and see to it that his will and all copies of it are burned. Then it's to Gregorovitchs' to earn the elder wand. He goes to grab his wand and realizes he forgot it at the Dumbledores. He couldn't go grab it, Albus would come after him if he broke his wards. He needs a new one so he would grab his fathers old one while in Germany, wouldn't be too performance as his own wand in a duel but it will work for one duel.

In Germany he acts all the part of a grieving son. One that lost his father so close after becoming an adult, it was easy right now for him to act vulnerable. He was able to grab his fathers wand before it was burned with his body and replaced it with a replica. He bows when the German wizards leader comes over "prime minister" he speaks in German.

The other smiles sadly at the young man, speaking in German too "you do not have to bow Gellert, your father and I were close friends" he rubs the boys shoulder "I'm sorry you had to find out by coming back after spending the summer away, all your father ever mentioned that was you were in England, he never mentioned a location"

Gellert nods and goes to sit down, hearing the prime minister talk to others. "The boy was practically raised around me, how he's acting right now and quite unusual, he's usually distant. But right now he's very upset, he never even cried or reacted at his mothers funeral and he was only a young boy at the time" Gellert glares at the floor for a minute then looks around the room and notices his older sister at the door and she motions for him to follow.

He goes outside with her "Your husband isn't here" he leans against the wall.

She hums "yes I know he's eye candy to you, and he stayed home with your nephew. You know he would like to meet you"

"I don't do well around children" he looks at her "you're only here for fathers will, he doesn't have one"

"I'm aware, and I know you most likely burned it because he found out. He cut you out" she crosses her arms.

"You have a rich pure blood husband with a stable job in high government. Without fathers assets I would have nothing, I wouldn't even be able to get a good job even if I wasn't expelled because he mentioned it in his will and he wanted it to be a public reading not a private one" he laughs a bit "it was either don't burn the will and have my life completely ruined, or burn the will and make sure I'm steady for my future and you're ok if anything happens"

She sighs "you aren't acting normal, you normally wouldn't care. What happened over the summer?"

"Nothing, I spent the summer with mothers aunt in England..." he puts his hand in his pocket "It was quite boring actually"
