I can feel the moon being channeled.
There's only one other person in this room with that ability.
What are they trying to do?
Perhaps it's a desperate attempt to see something. I imagine the crystal covering their eyes obstructs their vision.
"Lisa, could you keep singing, please? I think it's doing something." I request.
"But-"
"No, mentally. Dummy." I try my best to lighten the situation a little, but it's a bit.. difficult.
Alex and Rania are having a hushed argument on the pros and cons of blindness.
I finally remember something. "Ydris, you said you could remove the crystals, right? How will that work? Will it hurt them? Should I get first aid stuff?"
Ydris seems annoyed, I'm not sure why. "I can use magic, though it may still work and the skin pierced by the crystals will be raw and might bleed. I would recommend having bandages for this, yes."
Evergray, still in the hallway, coughs. "Guys, I gotta say, I'm fucking blazed as--KOFF--hell right now."
