"Your turn, Linda." Ydris announces and struts back to Avalon and Evergray. He mutters something that doesn't sound Jorvegian and Evergray coughs dramatically, then laughs.
I look at the group, confused. "Ydris.. what about-"
"Their eyes?" He interrupts. "Well, if you had been listening, you'd know that it's too dangerous to try to remove the crystals on their eyes and neck. I don't want to mutilate or kill them. Imagine being responsible for Aideen's death! Again!"
"Yeah, Sabine.." Alex mumbles.
"Yeah, Sabine!" Anne echoes.
Ydris starts a hushed conversation with Evergray, again, not sounding very Jorvegian. Huh.
I watch as Linda wraps Naomi's arms.
Why bring them back if they're going to suffer?
Blindness isn't a curse, of course, but how do we know those crystals aren't digging into their eyes?
And they obviously can't speak, either.
What were the Soul Riders thinking?
"Stop moving, please." Linda requests, speaking quietly, working carefully.
Lisa pets Starshine through the window.
Anne is scrolling on her phone.
Rania is.. stroking the walls.. That would be weird if she could see.
It's oddly calm right now.
