"Woomy?" I echo.
Linda nods. "Yup, that's what they spelled. Woomy."
Naomi appears to make the same movements.
Confirmation, I guess. Woomy. Whatever that means.
Linda seems puzzled. "You were born on Jorvik, right? How come you know ASL?"
Naomi doesn't get a chance to sign anything else before..
"Aideen can be born?!" Rania asks, shocked.
James replies for once. "Where do you think Catherine came from? Or Naomi, for that matter-"
I shudder. "Never bring that up again, I just pictured Jasper-"
Linda shrieks.
Anne literally falls on the ground.
Lisa doesn't react as dramatically, only frowns. "Alex.." She says, disappointed.
Ydris would probably be crying if he didn't have to always be--okay pause, these are his words not mine--'mysterious and sexy'.
First of all he's neither of those.
But anyway.
He just rolls his eyes and announces, "Everyone, I'm going to start now. Do not interrupt or distract me."
I immediately start booing him.
Anne stands up and also boos.
"Enough!" Ydris snaps, and I think he's genuinely pissed off.
I may be the brave one but Ydris is scary as fuck. We quiet immediately.
Suddenly the room is glowing pink with Pandoric energy. Anne sits back down on the floor, already dazed.
Evergray, as ill as he is, doesn't seem to be affected.
Weirdo.
