"Come on clover!" My cousin Emory shouts from the bottom of the stairs and I rush out my room. We're going shopping. I'm wearing a spaghetti strap blue flowery dress with a small string bow in the middle and my hairs in a Dutch braid. I grab a pair of purple sunglasses and stick them on my head before stumbling down our many stairs and reaching Em at the bottom.

She rolls her eyes and points to my feet.

"Why can't I wear crocs?" I say and cross my arms, my baby pink crocs are fitting for the occasion I think. She just shakes her head and drags me to the shoe rack where I pick up a pair of my old white converse and chuck them on before she once again drags me outside. We get in her grey bmw and drive out the gates.

I rant to her about work and how rude a customer was to me the other day when I asked if they wanted anything else and they said you. The face he was trying to pull off made him look constipated.

When we arrive at the massive mall, I hop out the car and practically run in. I love shopping, especially with my dads card. I think I get it from my mum. Emory follows closely behind me as I make my way into a pretty boutique.

I wander around until I find a sweet looking pale green dress with thin straps and a low down neck line and a white lacy halter neck top. I try them on and buy them, after Em has paid for her sandals, we move onto the next shop, chatting with each other and not paying attention to our surroundings at all.

My phone rings and I excuse myself myself from our conversation to pick it up, the ID reads UNKNOWN and I hesitantly press the answer button and lift my phone to my ear. Breathing comes down the line and I swallow harshly as a bad feeling settles in the pit of my stomach.

"Hello" I try and sound as clear as possible but my voice wavers slightly towards the end.

"Hello clover"  A distorted greeting replies and stop dead in my tracks. Emory looks at me confused and I take the phone away from my ear and press the speaker button so she can hear as well.

"Who are you?" I ask cautiously and the weird baratone voice chuckles.

"You'll find out soon enough my sweet, but for now all you need to know is that I'm watching you. All the time" I gasp slightly and Emory takes the phone from my hand aggressively whilst rolling her eyes.

"Look you weird creeper, I don't know who you are and quite frankly I don't give a fuck but whatever you want you can shove up your own ass because your not getting clover and you're certainly not watching her. So why don't you run along and go back to jerking off in the basement of your mothers house and leave us to shop in peace, good day" she takes a breath and hangs up the phone as I stare at her gaping slightly.

"You told him"I say and relief replaces the unease when she smiles and takes my hand, she gives it a squeeze and we continue to shop, although I can't shake the feeling I'm being watched. Just like he said.

After a day of shopping we're sat outside the mall eating tacos when my phone buzzes. I still and flip my phone on the table so I can see who's calling. UNKNOWN.

I tense up and Em let's out a pissed off sigh and grabs my phone, she answers it and holds it up to her ear.

"Listen here you little bitch-" her face drops after a beat of silence as she listens don the phone at the person who interrupted her.

"W-what" I sit up and she looks at me panicked as she stutters.

I signal for her to put the phone on speaker and she does, once it's placed on the table we both stare at it and wait for the man to speak again.
