The sunlight wakes me up because I forgot to close my curtains last night and my balcony door is open, I must have left it like that. The house smells great and when I look to my alarm clock I see that it's already 10am.

I get out of bed and get changed into a sundress with cherries on it after brushing my teeth, I go through different obsessions and my current one is rings with frog faces on them. Their so cute.

When I leave my room chase is just leaving Aces room, he must have stayed in there seeing as Ace is his best friend. He's doing up cufflinks on his dark blue suit, his silver watch heavy on his left wrist. I quickly spot the gun in his waistband and piece together the fact he's got someone to kill today.

"Fo fucks sake" he mutters as he walks past me and furrows his brows in frustration at the cuff link he can't quite put on.

"Here, I'll do it" he grunts and stops so I can get the cuff link from him and put it on the end of his sleeve. When he goes to walk away I cough slightly and he stops.

"What?" He says and stares at me impatiently.

"A Thankyou wouldn't be so difficult" he rolls his eyes and starts walking down the stairs. I have the advantage of being somewhat taller than I usually am because I'm a few steps behind him so I grab on to the top of his jacket and yank it.

"Clover what now?" He says and turns to look at me just as take a step forward and loose my footing. I'm going to die. I close my eyes tightly and wait for God but a pair of strong arms catch me and I flush a deep red over my cheeks. Embarrassing.

"Now I'm going to say Thankyou because you helped me chase" I emphasize on a couple words to make my point and he hums.

"No problem" idiot.

"You are so rude" i tell him and poke his chest, he just turns around and walks off down the stairs.

"I was talking to you chase Carter" I say practically running down the steps to keep up with him and his steady pace.

"And I wasn't listening" he replies and we get to the bottom of the stairs, he takes his phone out his pocket when it rings and answers it.

"What?" I feel for the person on the other end of the line.

"No"

"I'll kill you instead if you're not careful Teller" he spits into the phone and hangs up.

"Aren't you having breakfast, it's the most important meal of the day" I ask as he strides towards the front door without even going into the kitchen.

"God you're annoying"

"Ok, don't have breakfast then, it won't be my fault if you die from exhaustion of killing everyone" I mock and walk into the dining room where my mum, dad and brothers are all eating.

I sit down and my mum looks up from her phone to greet me.

"I know you all think I'm a stupid old man-"

"Shut up grey if you say you're old then I feel old 42 is not old" my mum snaps at him and he smirks at her while she glares back.

"Anyway, I know you had a party here last night idiots, not you clover" my dad says and leans back in his chair. My brothers all look at each other and communicate with their eyes, when they look over to me I divert my attention to my pancake.

"Party...what party?" Eli tries to play it dumb but my dad only rolls his eyes and smacks his hand on the table. My dads rarely ever cross so I nearly jump up from my seat when the loud sound resonates throughout the room.
