Magishift Interhouse Tournament

The school shook with a rather impressive roar.

"Leona Senpai," some people sighed as the Beastman stalked through the courtyard, eyes dilated as he bared his teeth.

"I will murder that Lizard," he hissed, coming to sit besides Yuu who hummed as he munched on an apple lazily.

"What did you do now," Yuu asked as Leona turned to him with a betrayed look as he shrugged.

"He's not perfect, you know.'

"Neither are you."

"Touche."

'Could say the same about you," Yuu smiled as he snorted, leaning against the boy who groaned but didn't retaliate. "....He didn't actually do anything did he?" Leona looked down to see Yuu staring up at him with a raised brow, smirk on his lips. His shoulders slumped as he gave the younger boy his answer.

"....No." He sighed, running a hand through his messy locks as Ruggie and Jack rushed out, panting, they spotted Leona who grunted at the sight of them.

"Le-ona! We need to start training for the Magishift Tournament," Ruggie sighed as he walked over, Yuu smirking, grabbing his water and sipping the bottle he had brought out with him.

"It's in two weeks. We have time, besides, Malleus is banned from playing in it since he overpowers everyone not giving them a chance and he is a prince," Leona brushed off. "Bought damned time too..."

Everyone ignored him.

"Yeah, might be true, but it doesn't change the fact that all the people we screwed over last year will be joining in," Ruggie hissed. "Need I remind you that Jamil and Trey still have a bone to pick with us after what we did? Vil too."

'Ugggh,'' he whined, flopping over Yuu who rolled his eyes before pushing Leona.

"Go on Kitty, Kitty," he made some kissy noises as Leona sneered, getting up as the bell rung and moving to head to the pitch. "I'll see you later. We are having our weekly dinner via chat later," he winked.

'You mean weekly bitching session,''Leona snickered as Jack huffed, waving to his friend as Ace and Deuce grabbed him to spend time in Heartslabyul.

They had training the next day, so they were spending it with Yuu before he resorted to being Crewel's helper during the week leading up to the tournament.

"Yuu say anything about his predicament in Ramshackle," Leona asked, Jack shaking his head as they headed down the path to the colosseum.

"You know him as well as I do Leona Senpai. He doesn't like to talk about himself or his struggles. A by-product of his homelife," Jack rubbed the back of his head as Leona grumbled, rolling his eyes as they made their way to the changing rooms and stripped down to get into their gym clothes.

"Anything to note Ruggie?"

"One thing," Ruggie admitted, sheepish as they walked out to see a group they did not want to see.

'The hell is going on here," he barked, stalking out as Vargas was arguing with a woman with intense amber eyes.

"I told you it's all well and good to use this place to train but we have a big inter-house tournament coming up and they need to train for it," Vargas explained to the woman who had a mass of students behind her. "You can get access back to this place in about....3 weeks? We need it for now....ah! Kingscholar! Get over here," Vargas called, Leona sighing as he handed his broom to Jack who swallowed at the looks they received.

"What," he demanded, hands shoved into his pockets.

"Mind showing the kids here the smaller training area while your guys get to warming up," he ordered, turning to whistle at his team.
