It was dark and gloomy, the wind howling outside, as I sat in the chamber my sister died in. I still couldn't fully settle on the thought not believing it had happened. Time seemed to stop as I sat on the bed which was hard as a rock creaking quietly as I lay down. I tried to close my eyes and think about something else, I thought about my sister and when everything was okay, I thought about us going on walks on those sunny days when there wasn't a care in the world, happy faces chattering quietly. My thoughts got interrupted by the lashing rain against my window, twisting me back to reality. As I looked around I saw a faint light coming from the corner of the dimly lit room, I sat up quietly trying not to disturb whatever the light was coming from as I stood up the light got a bit brighter. I tried to see what would happen if I walked away a little, taking a step back as quietly as possible I looked at the light, it was dimmer now but only the slightest bit so I took another step back. The light now barely shining I was curious to see what would happen if I walked up to the light. I slowly started making my way to the light as it started getting brighter and brighter, it was so bright I could barely see. Then, suddenly I heard that low whistle, the same one from that night my body froze. I looked around seeing that the light was gone, But the low whistle just seemed to get louder and louder. I started to panic hoping that I wouldn't meet the same fate as my sister, I tried to scream but I couldn't I didn't know what was happening but my body just wouldn't budge. The rain got heavier and the wind got stronger. I didn't know what to do. I closed my eyes and tried to get myself to calm down thinking I could then be able to move again. Then, I heard something I wish I never did a little tap at the window it was slow and faint you could only hear it in the dead of night slowly the tapping stopped, I opened my eyes and there it was again the little faint light in the corner of the room. I thought maybe if I said something, would anyone believe me about all the things I'd seen and heard on this very night? My hopes had suddenly run dry as I heard the tapping against the window again this time a bit louder. I tried to turn my head to the right and see through the window but I still couldn't move. Hoping for the best I quietly said "hello ?". Suddenly the low whistle stopped. Then I heard a loud bang the knocking seeming to intensify as it got quicker and louder. Then I heard footsteps and the sound of metal dragging against the walls, This is it I'm gonna die. I feel the person or creature getting closer, suddenly I feel my limbs break free. I turn around and see a shadow-like person wearing a shawl or a cloak not being able to see clearly since the lighting in the room is not very bright I faintly see the outline of a knife in their right hand, I slowly step backwards. the shadow like person steps closer as I slowly step back a few more times, suddenly tripping on my nightgown I fall to the floor. I bang my head on the wall slowly losing consciousness, my eyesight getting blurry as I hear the person getting closer. This is it I'm going to die just like my sister we are going to face the same unruly death. as my consciousness slips away the last thing I see is the man's face staring right back at me. I'm going to die, aren't I?
