Deadly Weapon

Andrea awoke by dawn; as usual, she looked around and realized she was home! She felt an arm on her waist. She shook her head in frustration thinking that she had just slept with Niklaus Mikaelson, who in no shape, or form was her husband. 

They were back home, and Klaus and Ariana do not exist anymore. Andrea decided to quietly get up when she felt an arm pull her back, "Hayley please, we had a long night. I do not want to get up now", Klaus said while hugging her. Hayley couldn't help but smile at his childlike behavior, but she knew that his waking up would make things awkward. 

She softly whispered, "I will just get some water and come back", she started to lift his hand slowly while he nodded with closed eyes. After, adjusting the quilt she left the room. Thinking about the huge change in her life. 

Andrea went into her room which was right next to his. She went in and had a shower. Then, she decided to not think about him and focus on important matters. Sitting down at her table, she started to study all of Marcel's materials. Most of them were journals with ideas and progress entries on the plan. Reading a bit into it, she realized that he was no ordinary enemy. 

On the other hand, Klaus had woken up. He looked at the time and realized it was already ten in the morning. "Hayley why didn't you wake me up", he said assuming she was with him. Rebeka entered his room and said, "Good morning Nik", with a smile. "Why didn't you wake me up and where is Hayley?", he questioned. 

Rebeka was quite astounded when asked for Hayley but said, "We thought you would benefit from some good sleep after all that traveling, as for Hayley she is in her room", she finished with a confused expression. Niklaus rubbed his head and realized that she was not "his wife" anymore. After a bit, Rebeka said " Why don't you freshen up and meet us in the garden", she left once Klaus nodded. 

Niklaus looked at the other side of the bed and he knew for sure that Hayley had slept with him the previous night. Suddenly, he spotted something shiny and recognized her earing. He smiled to himself and safely put it in his drawer. 

During this, Hayley was busy in the library. She was searching for the book she had found on Marcel. The royal library was huge and looking for one particular book was taking ages. She was moving from shelf to shelf on the huge ladder, and it had been hours now. Andrea was supposed to meet everyone at the garden at eleven, fifteen minutes away from now. 

Niklaus was passing by and he heard a lot of rattling in the library. He walked towards it to find Hayley searching for something with a lot of determination. At that point, she missed a step and was about fall, but suddenly she was caught by someone. She looked up to find Nik looking at her. "I suppose you were right about me not dropping you", he said with a smirk. 

"Ya, ya don't get too cocky now", she said. "Was born like that", he said with the same expression. "We have to reach the garden soon, I don't think I will find Marcel's book", she said exasperated. He noticed that something was troubling her, so he asked her what she was talking about. After she explained, he just randomly went to a shelf and picked up one book, that was titled "Findings of Jacob Bastille"

Then came a cushion flying right to Niklaus's face. "I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THAT BOOK FOR THE LAST FOUR HOURS AND YOU JUST FIND IT IN ONE SECOND", Andrea said with frustration. "Well love, only talented people have the benefits", he said while laughing at her. God, he loved to annoy her. For some reason, he found her angry face very cute. 

Tired of his antics, Andrea snatched the book and proceeded towards the garden. Klaus closely followed. She had all of Marcel's materials in hand, but she had not finished studying them. Then she said aloud to the rest,  "These are all the things Marcel had gained and stolen to attain the whole of Europe. His plans for Global domination and he would like to start with Europe. We must not underestimate him as he has the knowledge and resources to complete his goal. One thing he lacks is perfect timing, which he plans to achieve soon. I am not yet done studying but we need to get as much information as we can about him. In his journal, he mentioned five things that need to take over the countries. Three of which he has.", she said worriedly.
