Chapter 2 'The Truth'

Alena: The world is a toxic place, but not everything is as bad as it seems.

Gandalf: You Shall Not Pass!

Frodo: Gandalf!

Sam: Mr. Frodo?

<Time skip>

<Aragorn is lying with his eyes closed and ear pressed to the ground, listening for the sound of footsteps.>

Aragorn: Their pace has quickened. <He looks up> They must have caught our scent. Hurry! <He runs off>

Alena: Ok I guess.

Legolas: Come on Gimli.<Looks back at Gimli before running after Aragorn and Alena>

Gimli: <pauses in his steps and huffs> Three days and nights pursuit. No food. No rest. And no sign of our quarry but what bare rock can tell. <Runs after his companions.>

Alena: Hurry Gimli!

[The Four Hunters run across rocks and plains, with Aragorn in the lead, followed by Legolas, Alena and Gimli. From time to time, Legolas looks back to make sure that Gimli is keeping up. Aragorn suddenly bends down to pick up an Elven brooch from the ground.]

Alena: Is...That?

Aragorn: Not idly do the Lorien fall.

Legolas: They may yet be alive.

Aragorn: Less than a day ahead of us, come!

Legolas: Come, Gimli! We are gaining on them.

Gimli: I'm wasted on cross-country. We-

Alena: Gimli! No one cares, come on!

Gimli: Oh!? Fine...

Aragorn: Rohan, home of the horse-lords. There's something strange at work here. Some evil gives speed to these creatures. Sets its will against us. Legolas! What do your elf eyes see?

Alena: Phht elf eyes hahaha!

Legolas: The Uruks turn Northeast. They are taking the hobbits to Isengard!

Aragorn: Saruman.

[In Rivendell]

????????: I need to know my lord Elrond. How did the ring manage its way into the hobbits' hands?

Elrond: Please queen Cvilan-

???????: Cvil.

Elrond: Queen Cvil, you need to relax, we still don't know how this fate has come.

Cvil: Well we need to figure it out.

Elrond: And we will, but we must calm down.

Cvil: Fine, but-

Elrond: My love please, you must calm down, Cvil they will be fine.

Cvil: Fine, and have you got word from our husband about the matter?

Elrond: Yes he did not care for it.

Cvil: Of course, that's who Thranduil is.

Elrond: Thranduil will care sooner or later, I mean his son is in the Fellowship.

Cvil: But, he knows his son has his guard. Those two were always together, they were perfect. When Alena and Legolas were kids they were always with each other, they helped each other, they healed, cared, trained, cuddled, calmed, and hugged, they loved each other Elrond, and to see them grow apart is different. I remember seeing the two cuddling together by a tree when they were kids, and now the two are so far from each other.

Elrond: But you've seen their future.

Cvil: Yes but, the future can change Elrond. Do you want to know the truth about Alena and Legolas?

Elrond: Of course!

Cvil: Okay let's start with Alena's past. When Alena was first born she was destined to be the next Queen of the Mystery Woods like how I am. But as soon as she was born the war started, her parents were killed so she never knew them. It was my responsibility to find her somewhere she was safe and no one would know she was the princess. So I got as close to Mirkwood as I could and left her to be found by the king. She was raised alongside Legolas, they were as close as could be. But soon came her time to start training to be a royal guard, and Legolas helped her as much as he could, and when the two were 101 Alena was announced as prince Legolas's guard. And she could not show much emotion to him or she would lose focus of her main priority 'protect the prince' and soon their friendship faded I know Alena misses him but doesn't know how to say it.

[Flashbacks]

?????: Legolas! Legolas! Wait for me!

Kid Legolas: Sorry Alena.

Kid Alena: It's okay!

Legolas: What do you have?

Alena: Oh! Queen Cvil said it was my mom's spell book!

Legolas: Cool! But why do you have it?

Alena: She said I should finish finding new spells for it!

Legolas: Oh!

Alena: Rawr!

Legolas: AH! Alena? Why are you in the tree?

Alena: I got bored.

Legolas: Oh.

Alena: Um, Legolas?

Legolas: Yea?

Alena: What's that? <Points at something on the ground>

Legolas: <Turns to see what the she elf was pointing at> I don't know but it has your last name on it.

Alena: It's a sword! With my mom's name on it!

Legolas: How do you know?

Alena: Queen Cvil told me a lot about my mom.

[End of flashbacks]

Cvil: Elrond the two can end with a bad fate...
