The next morning, Buddy was scrolling through his texts when he found one that peaked his interest.

---------------------------

Aaron: James wants to see you. 7:30AM

---------------------------

Finally Buddy thought. He packed a small amount of items and was about to leave when he heard a voice behind him.

"Where are you going?" Felix said, yawning.

"James wants to see me apparently." Buddy replied.

"And you're going to leave me here all by myself to do all this paperwork?" Felix pondered, pointing to the massive heap of paper on the table.

"Well, no-" Buddy began.

"You were, weren't you?" Felix said, a little annoyed.

"I was gonna tell you." Buddy said. "Just come with me."

"Oh I am, don't you worry."

The pair went to James's office where they saw him sitting in his chair with glasses on reading a newspaper. The pair sat down.

"I understand that you want to raise a few concerns." James said, putting his newspaper down and looking at them square in the eyes.

"Yeah, it's about this whole OBE no work thing." Buddy started. "We don't like having no work and all paperwork and if you won't change things I'll request to have my OBE removed, thus worsening your reputation." James sighed, taking in the comment and thinking for a moment.

"I've had a case in my queue for a while now and no-one's wanted to take it on. I'll give it to you if you promise not to have your OBE removed." James negotiated.

"I promise not to have my OBE removed only if you cut down the amount of papers I have to do." Felix replied.

"Deal." James said. They all shook hands.

"Elevated electromagnetic waves detected near the Museum of Natural history." Buddy read from the debrief.

"That has to be the stupidest mission I think we're ever going to go on." Felix remarked.

"You never know, it could be something interesting." Buddy replied.

The pair arrived at the Museum and looked around.

"This is so stupid." Felix said, rolling his eyes.

"It's not stupid, we've barely seen anything yet." Buddy replied.

They went inside.

"Do you have a booking?" The receptionist asked.

"Umm." Buddy pondered.

"Well, do you?" The receptionist asked impatiently.

"No." Felix bumped in.

"Then we can't let you in." They replied.

The pair turned around and were about to leave when they spotted an open door with no-one guarding it. Buddy bolted through it and Felix soon followed.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"I'm finding out what's going on." Buddy replied, going down the dark staircase as he said so. When they reached the bottom, they couldn't see anything apart from another door. They went through it. They were now in a large room that looked like it hadn't been touched in hundreds of years.

"This must be part of the original building." Felix said astonishingly.

"Or part of the tunnels that were built under London a long time ago." Buddy suggested. They walked further into the room when they heard a noise. It sounded like something was churning.

"There shouldn't be machines down here." Felix whispered.

"Maybe its what's creating the electromagnetic field?" Buddy suggested.

They continued into the room until they found a door which said: HIGH VOLTAGE! KEEP OUT!

They opened the door and went inside.
