I wonder how much time has passed?
Everything has changed besides myself.
I get so lonely that it hurts so much. I, who still miss you, am still standing in the same place.
Reminiscing about our old days
I close my eyes and remember. Days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer.
After repeating to freeze and melt,
my heart has lost its warmth from mere regrets.
We were like a movie, I feel out of breath
talking about the old days makes me toss and turn again.
While I know there's nothing I can do
I'm reminded once again as I hesitate after seeing pieces of you.
"Come on Maejin, everyone is watching that movie lately" Hyunjin begged "I bet you'll be the one screaming at every single jumpscare" she scoffed "It's October, it's spooky season. Also... don't you think a little bit of distraction is good?" He hesitantly suggested.
"Fine... what is it even about?" She questioned "they're in a haunted house and as soon as they enter there is no going back because.." he acted all mysterious "what come on tell me, I'm not scared" she confidently nodded until someone layed their hands on her shoulder. The girl let out a scream and flinched immediately turning around as Hyunjin started to laugh.
"What the fuck Yuqi" Maejin exclaimed "a horror movie? Oh you mean the one everyone is watching lately? What is it called again" she started "properly haunted house, it sounds so basic" Maejin rolled her eyes "don't be a fun brake, it'll be nice" hyunjin held his thumbs up nodding "can I come with you guys? Work has been stressing me out these days" she took a seat.
"Sure" maejin agreed as hyunjin gave her a look that said 'maybe not' as Yuqi immediately understood "you know, I think I'm not free this day. My mom wants me to come home this Friday and and babysit my sister" she explained "Isn't your sister 17?" Maejin looked up "yeeah, but you know Teenagers do crazy stuff when they're alone" she wided her eyes nodding. "So you seriously want me to go with this guy to a HORROR movie alone?" She asked "hey shut up, I'm not that scared" he said.
"Mhm sure... whatever I'll take this" she told Hyunjin "you know, when are you going to start ordering yourself you just turned 25" he frowned "so what? Isn't this what friends do for each other?" She blinked "hm.. fine" he gave in as a woman approached them.
"Yeah we'd like to have.."
"So Maejin.." Yuqi whispered hitting her shoulder "when are guys finally going to date each other?" She smirked "what do you mean? Date?" She repeated confused "it's so obvious that he likes you. When you watch that movie you should make the first step" Yuqi told her. Maejin was about to say something "what are you guys whispering about?" Hyunjin interrupted their weird talk "oh I just asked her to film your scared face while watching the movie. Need these for personal reasons" Yuqi made up "for the last time I'm not scared!"

"Well I'll head home now, see you guys" Yuqi waved and walked off.
"Should I drive you home? You drank a bit" Hyunjin turned to Maejin. Does he really like me... dating? First step?
"Maejin?" He repeated "uh no I'll just take a taxi, it's not that far" she explained "hm well okay. Text me if anything happens and we'll see each other tomorrow, I'll arrive 10 minutes later to pick you up since I have some extra work to do but I'll hurry" he said "you know you don't need to pick me up everyday, I can also ask one of my workmates" she sort of chuckled "oh you mean Mi-ra? She drives crazy, I don't want you to end up dead you know", "at least she didn't almost fell asleep while driving, how can I trust you after that huh?"
"Whatever just go home" He told her turning around "Don't worry Hyunjin, you will always be my number one driver" she shouted after him as a small smile appeared on his face.
