"Is it... snowing" Maejin faced the window as both of them let her hands go. "Finally" she exhaled stepping back "what's up with you guys. Its not the right time for stuff like this"
Minho looked outside the window... it really was snowing. Memories flashed through his mind.
Flashback
"Is it snowing?" My mom questioned putting the dishes down "wait really?" I ran over to look out and she was right. Pretty big snow flakes fell down landing everywhere. It was for sure that they wouldn't stay long, but still. Snow before December was rarely happening which made it even more special "Let's go out, should we?" I asked exited "why don't you ask your friends, hm?" She smiled over to me "forget it, I'll go alone" I grabbed my shoes, warm jacket and a hat.
I waved up to my mom from down there as she waved back. I signaled with my hands for her to come down, she just nodded for me to join some other kids behind me. "Don't want to" I mouthed to her. I turned around and looked at the child's sledding down some little mountain of sand "looks boring anyway" I mumbled to myself until my vision landed on another one. A boy, he seemed older than me though.
He sat on a bench as he faced me too. I walked past him, but stopped "hey.. you wanna play with me?" somehow people who were alone always had a weak spot on me. He seemed shocked that I spoke to him, but soon answered "why don't you have fun with everyone else as usual?", "why? You don't wanna play?" I tilted my head. It seemed like he thought about it but denied "no, I don't like you. Just go" he stood up with hands in his pockets and left not looking back once. He didn't even feel sorry for saying that, why would he though? He doesn't even know me, right?
I met him that day, I'm sure of it. It's a sign... a sign that it snows so early again. He can't be gone.
Suddenly Minho grabbed Hyunjins collar "you better not distract me and tell me what really happened. I see what you're doing... clearly. You know something don't you?", "stop the crap, both of you. You two better tell me what's going on. Hyunjin I've been worrying for so long, you need to tell me who did this to you and where you've been. I literally kept my phone off just because of you told me to go and being scared something might happen to me too. Please just explain" his eyes almost flinched in between hers.
He stood up "Nothing happened I promise, I don't know what you expect me to say" while talking he walked over to grab a piece of paper and a pen sitting back down. They both faced him confused as he placed it on his thigh so he can write properly. He held up the unwell written paper as both of them got closer to get a clearer vision of it.
We are being bugged
Maejin looked around the room "what I expect you to say, huh? Be for real as if you ended up here for nothing" Minho got close to him "I'm not gonna play your stupid game" meanwhile Hyunjin continued to write.
Let's talk outside
"Stop it. What will the other patients here think? Let's talk outside" Maejin suggested, trying to talk as convincing as possible. "Can you walk?" She questioned "please pass me the wheeling chair"
As soon as the door closed Hyunjin breathed out "what the fuck" Maejin raised her eyebrows "we're being bugged? Really?" Hyunjin nodded at her "well I think so at least. Could be" Minho scoffed "could be.. what an amateur. So that we are out now.. Talk"
