"Really I said I'll just go and try to sleep" She complained as the cold air hit her "if you don't wanna accept my offer you are free to leave, I can also go alone" he nonchalantly said as if it was nothing "and you? It's dark just go and sleep too"
"It's obvious Maejin" he started "I get that you feel uncomfortable with me in there. Just try to sleep now and I'll come back in ca 30 minutes" he suggested "that's so stupid. Why would I want you to stay out here in the cold while I'll try to sleep peacefully. I'm not selfish" she started walking forwards.
They walked for 5 quiet minutes "do you know... the directions?" Maejin spoke up "Yeah I mean it can't be that hard, we just have to walk the same way back that we came" he turned around to see almost nothing but darkness light up with a few street lights.
The boy spotted a bench and decided to sit down followed by the girl. She awkwardly observed the view she had until her head turned it self to look at him. He was almost irresistible, it was hard to not give in for her. Before she could notice herself staring he turned his head too to make eye contact with her. He gave her a weak smile as she felt herself melting into his eyes which felt mesmerising.
"Don't smile like that" she quietly said not taking his eyes off him "Why?" Because it makes me fall for you again..
"Let's go back" she stood up until he took her wrist "wait" somehow her heart was beating faster at this, unsure what was going to happen next.
"This fell out of your pocket" he held her phone up. She blinked a few times "ah" Her hand slowly made it's way to take it "did you expect something else?" He asked "no"
They decided to walk back again "Maejin..." he softly spoke up "mh?", "Are you really okay?" He question made her stop her steps.
"What makes you think that I wouldn't be?" She somehow chuckled which made him tilt his head slightly "I don't know, it's just... you've been not behaving like usual", "three years have passed since we last saw each other, of course I changed" she confused answered "Hm okay if you say so" He smiled a bit.

"Luckily now everything's free. Come home safely" Chan leaded the two girls outside "yes you too, was nice meeting you guys here" Yuqi friendly replied "we should more often do something together, right Maejin?" She poked her shoulder "mh sure", "wait" Yuqi spoke up "Why don't Maejin and Minho drive together. Don't you guys literally live in the same house?"
They both looked at each other awkward "hm.. you're right. Minho we share this car anyway. Drive Maejin home and I'll go with Yuqi" chan told them "wait wait" Minho said "it's not that easy?", "why wouldn't it be?"
Maejin quietly got into the car putting her seat belt on "can you type in the adress, I don't exactly know the directions" Minho asked pointing at the small screen of the car "ah yeah.... here" she finished "thanks, then let's go" he took off.
"I didn't know that you could also drive a car" she spoke up "I got the licence like last year I think. Since then I don't drive quite often, only when it's necessary" he answered "I see. Did you sleep well last night?" She asked another question "I should ask you, since you first couldn't sleep", "well I actually fell alseep pretty fast after the little walk" is she not mad anymore? She seems to speak normal with me.
"By the way... Did you really just came here because Yuqi told you we'd visit the beach" this took Minho off guard "huh?" He shortly threw a side glance to her "I'm not stupid. I heard her saying this to you", "ah" he weirdly chuckled "you see it wasn't like that. I didn't listen to her in that way, it just reminded me how long it has been since I last took a trip here. So I thought the weather was nice and actually Chan and I have been talking about going here" he explained himself "ah really? Cause Chan told me yesterday that you came up with this out of pocket" Minho closed his eyes for a second avoiding eye contact.
