I felt like I was going to succeed
Like everything was in my favour
I felt like I was going to win
I felt my fruits turning into reality
But the glass of expectations broke down
When I felt defeated
Defeated not because I haven't worked hard enough
Defeated just because that prize was only mine
It was mine
Because I loved what I do
It was mine because I was made to do it
But alas
Maybe god has another plans
Today I felt defeated
But tomorrow I will not
Cause I will continue doing what I love to do every single day of my life
