Day 3

After some thought about this plan, I don't think this is such a good idea. At all. How do we know Sally and Dave are actually dating? I have never seen Dave and Sally talk to each other, but to be fair I have only known Dave for as long as I have worked here, which is not that long. You know what, this is just a bad idea, in general, why would I sacrifice everything for some girl I have only met once? It was never going to work out between Sally and me. I'm going to call Margo right now to tell her that this 'bet' is over. Right as I dial Margo's number my boss says "Jess! What did I say about the phone policy, you work here, you can't be glued to your phone while some customers could use help finding a book." I say, "Yes mam but can I quickly make this one call, it's very important." very important. "No, you can not. When you are off work then you can take this 'important' call." I sigh, "okay." I put my phone back in my pocket and look around to see if anyone needs some help. My heart drops when I see Dave, not because I think he's cute or anything. I like girls., but Dave isn't unfortunately looking, ok ima stop now.  My heart drops because of who he's talking to, Sally. They are so close to each other practically hugging. Dave is leaning on the bookshelf and Sally is just looking up at him like he's Austin Butler. They keep laughing and blushing at each other it makes me cringe. Before I think twice I imminently walk to both of them. I knew right when I took the first step that this was a bad idea. As I walk closer and closer to them Dave starts to look at me. "Hey dude" ugh I hate that Dave says the words "dude" or "bro" like I get that he's trying to sound cool and all but he just sounds like a drunk surfer dude who says he knows how to surf but is afraid of the water. "uh hey" There is a moment of silence when I say that. "Is there something you need bruh?" There it is again, " Oh no... I was just... looking for a certain book that's on this self... right here!" I grab a random book without looking at it. They both start laughing and Im kinda confused. "What to expect during a divorced pregnancy???" WHAT! I quickly look at the book and notice the title. "uhh YEP. That's the book I'm looking for. Someone wants it on hold so... ima go. see ya." "Okay dude." I walk away as fast as humanly possible. I go back behind the counter to collect myself after that awkward situation. Now, what am I supposed to do? I look around to see if anyone watching and then I slowly flip through the pages of the book. I have nothing better to do. As I am reading chapter 'All I Want is a Silent Night' chapter 4, I look up from the book and see David and Sally kissing. It feels like everyone just took all the air out of my lungs and about to throw up. Seeing them so close together and kissing I just got so jelouse. I walk so fast out the store that I almost knocked over a bookshelf. I pull out my phone and start dialing. "Hello?" "Margo... Im in."
