"You plan on asking him out?" Seungmin repeated, "I plan on asking him out!" Felix smiled, his excitement showing through. "Ok, and how are you going to do that?" Seungmin asked, taking a sip of his tea, "Well I was going to take him to where we first met and hang out there then confess!" Felix's smile dropped when he saw Seungmin roll his eyes

"That's so lame and basic" Seungmin looks at the author then looks back at Felix, "Didn't you say you wanted an apartment with him and to have a future with him?" Seungmin asked, Felix, nodded

"Well then do that! Take him to his apartment order some food makes him happy, and at the right moment express your feelings, make him know you want a future with him in THAT apartment! he wants to know that you're willing to commit as much as he's committed to you" Seungmin smiled

"Why do you know so much about romance?" Felix asked Seungmin shrugged, "I don't know I've never been interested in it before I met you two idiots" Seungmin chuckled at Felix's face, "rude"

"But never mind that let's get into planning!" Seungmin smiled, Felix nodded, "what does he like to eat?" He asked, "he likes meat!" Felix smiled, "ok order all kinds and have a whole meal with him, then the big confession!" Seungmin said excitement clear on his face

Felix had it all planned out. He was going to do it on Friday. He already asked Changbin to hang out with him that day. He came into his apartment while Changbin was working and cleaned the whole place, then prepared the food.

The whole apartment was filled with the delicious smell of Changbins' favorite foods, Changbin walked in taken aback by the amazing smell, he took his jacket off confused, and walked into the kitchen his eyes widened at all the food. Felix turned around and smiled brightly waving his hands in the air, "surprise!" He yelled jumping up and down

"What's all this?" Changbin asked looking at everything, "I just wanted to do something special for you to say thank you for everything you've done and to say, I love you" Felix smiled

Changbins heart started pounding, "wow thank you" Changbin smiled and sat down his ears a bright red, Felix set their plates up and served Changbin first, Changbin smiled at him feeling suspicious of his actions

"What?" Felix grinned confused, "Are you doing this to make me feel better from the date I had because I said I was fine" Changbin grinned, Felix smiled, "That's part of the reason but I did it for something else too" Felix smiled eating some of the food

Changbin tried some of the food, his eyes lighting up at the taste he hummed at the warmth he felt, "this is so good! You made this yourself?" Changbin asked for a mouth full of food, "Well, not exactly" Felix laughed, "Minho helped out a bit, it wasn't all me"

"Minho?" Changbin asked, Felix, shrugged, "Friend of a friend. I'll introduce you two sometime". Changbin smiled before taking another bite, "I'd like that".

Felix pulled out a chair next to Changbin and sat down, "It tastes really good! You should cook more", Changbin complimented. Felix blushed a little, "Thanks, I'll try"

He picked up a fork and began eating from his plate while Changbin started talking about how his day went. "So I got the job, and everything's mostly been great. Except there's this one guy who just doesn't like me for some reason. His name is Yun, and he's always picking at me, and criticizing every little thing I do!"

Felix felt himself getting upset for Changbin, but I nodded and let him continue, "Like today, I was delivering an order to this one table, and someone had spilled a drink and I almost slipped. I didn't fall and drop everything but one of the drinks spilled on one of the tables a little bit. I apologized and cleaned it up and the customers were super nice about it and that should've been it. But once my shift was over my boss came out to talk to me about it and Yun told her I had slipped and spilled a drink on the customer! I got in trouble and could've lost my job all because he lied!"

"That's so fucked up!" Felix huffed, "You don't make someone lose a job because you don't like them! And how could he not like you, you're an amazing person!" Felix said, wrapping a comforting arm around Changbin.

His friend smiled, "It's fine. My Boss just told me to be more careful next time, and my other co-workers were on my side. It's been kind of a shitty day but this meal you made up for it!" Changbin complimented.

Felix smiled as Changbin went on, "I appreciate you a lot Felix" he added more quietly, "You can turn a shitty day into a good one by just being there. Whenever I'm going through something, you're always there to support me. I don't think I've told you just how much I appreciate your support" as he said that, Changbin looked into Felix's eyes.

Felix could feel his heart start racing as Changbin stared at him, he looks so beautiful, Felix thought as his friend stared at him, eyes full of love and appreciation. "Th-thank you," Felix stammered.

"I appreciate you too", Felix started. Tell him now! This is your chance, tell him how you feel! his brain screamed. Felix took a deep breath, before continuing.

"It's more than just appreciating you Changbin.", Changbin's eyes went a little wide as he listened to his friend. "You've always been a great friend, my best friend, and I've always been able to count on you. Sure we may have had our ups and downs, but we've always worked things out and come back to each other. You also turn my bad days into good, your jokes are amazing, your opinions on things are always so interesting and I could just sit and listen to you talk for hours. But beyond that, you're an amazing phenomenal person"

Changbin blushed heavily as Felix went on, "The type of person I want to build a future with. I want us to be together, like a real couple, and no this isn't just me trying to rebound, I've had these feelings for a while. I don't know when my feelings for you started to change, but for the longest now I've wanted us to be more than just friends. You're an amazing guy, you're honest, loyal, funny, and smart. You're always there for people, and you're so incredibly kind. I want to spend my life with you, all of it. I want us to travel together, live together, and maybe even marry each other one day. I don't know if you feel the same way, but I've had this pent up for such a long time now and I figured this was the only chance I'd get to tell you...so" Felix trailed off.

The room fell silent for a second as the weight of those words hung in the air. Changbin continued to stare at him, but Felix was unable to read his gaze, as he processed all of what his friend had just said.

Felix felt his heart drop as he started to panic, why is he still quiet? surely he would've said something by now? oh no, he doesn't feel the same way! I fucked everything up! Shit!

"Changbin? Changbin I'm sorry, I know you probably don't feel the same way and I'm so stupid for thinking you di-", suddenly Felix felt Changbins lips connecting with his.

As cliche as it was, it felt like he was in a movie. He felt sparks fly around him, this was a moment he had dreamed of for so long, and it was just like he imagined, no it was better! Felix closed his eyes and leaned into the kiss, he felt like he was going to explode with joy.

Changbin pulled back smiling, "Do you know how long I've been waiting to hear those words?" he said. Felix smiled and felt tears welling up in his eyes, as Changbin laughed, "I knew there was a reason you cooked all of this! You were just trying to butter me up huh?"

Felix wiped the tears from his eyes as he chuckled, "Really? I just confessed and all you can think about is the food!" Felix laughed while lightly punching Changbin in the arm.

"Hey, it's true!" Changbin retorted, once the laughter died down Changbin became more serious, "So what does this mean, are we dating now?" he asked.

Felix turned to him, "I don't know. Do you want to date?" he said. "Uhm duh!" Changbin said sarcastically. Felix smiled, "Well, in that case, Changbin, will you be my boyfriend?"

Changbin giggled, "Why of course! Felix, will you be my boyfriend?".

Felix rolled his eyes playfully, "Uhm duh!" he echoed Changbin from earlier. The two laughed again before staring at each other, "I guess we're official then" Felix said.

Changbin wrapped his arm around Felix and pulled him in, "I guess we are" he said before kissing him again.

Best. Day. Ever.
