Thrushpaw flicked her tail in boredom. She watched a butterfly flitter nearby. She sighed as Thornpaw entered. "If you're here to brag about being such a great fighter that you didn't get hurt training, then I don't want to hear it." Thrushpaw growled.
Thornpaw sighed. "That's not why I'm here. I wanted to bring you this blackbird." Thornpaw tossed a fat blackbird and it landed in front of her.
"T-thanks?" Thrushpaw stammered awkwardly. "Probably was told to bring it to me by Jaggedtooth or Dustylight." She added under her breath.
She watched Thornpaw leave and inspected the blackbird. It was... fresh. Like he just caught it. He was probably forced to hunt it. Pushing those thoughts aside, she ate the blackbird, savoring each bite.
