𝐀 𝐅𝐄𝐖 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 and nothing much had happened since earlier. Daryl wasn't back from his hunt yet and the others weren't back from Atlanta. Some people were starting to worry about why their loved ones haven't made it back from the walker infested city.

"Hello, base camp. Can anybody out there hear me?" A voice came through the cb. This time it sounded like it might've beeen T-dog.

Dale climbed up onto the rv where the Cb now was. "Base camp, this is T-dog. Anybody hear me?"

"Hello? Hello?" Dale spoke into the radio. "Receptions bad on this end. Repeat. Repeat."

"Shane, is that you?"

"Is that them?" Lori asked, blocking the sun with her arm so she could look up at Dale.

"We're in some deep shit. We're trapped in the department store."

"He say they're trapped?" Shane asked, rubbing the back of his head.

"There are geeks all over the place. Hundreds of 'em. We're surrounded."

"T-dog, repeat that last. Repeat." Dale said but was met with static.

Dean looked at the ground. “just a minor set back is all”. Merle and the others would be back before Daryl gets back from his hunt. No sweat... Right?

"He said the department store." Lori stated.

"I heard it too." Dale nodded.

Lori looked to Shane. "Shane?"

"No way." Shane shut her down "we do not go after them. We do not risk the rest of the group. Y'all know that."

"So we're just gonna leave her there?" Amy asked Shane shocked that he wasn't even gonna try to get the others back.

"Look, Amy, I know that this is not easy—"

"she volunteered to go to help the rest of us." Amy cut Shane off.

The man nodded. "I know, and she knew the risks, right? See, if she's trapped, she's gone. So we just have to deal with that. There's nothing we can do."

"She's my sister, you son of a bitch." Amy angrily said before running off.

Dean scoffed walking over to Shane. He looked up at the man. "If my big brother ain't back here before Daryl gets back from his hunt... You'll be sorry." He muttered before stomping off towards his tent. The group was lucky that the Dixon's dad wasn't still alive. He was worse then all three of then put together.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐎𝐅 𝐀 𝐂𝐀𝐑 𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐌 echoed throughout the camp. The group of survivors were confused not knowing what the alarm was until a bright red car pulled up. The alram was still ringing off when Glenn got out of the drivers seat with a big smile on his face. The group started gathering around.

"Holy crap. Turn that damn thing off!" Dale yelled from ontop of the rv.

"I don't know how!" Glenn yelldd.

Amy and Shane started talking at the same time and finally the car alarm got shut off and moments later a white box truck pulls up.

"Andrea!" Amy yelled seeing her sister. The two ran into each others arms and hug happily.

Slowly everyone started heading out of the truck. Dean bit the inside of his cheeks when he didn't see Merle. Before he could read to much into it he heard Carl yell.

"Dad!" The blue eyed boy yelled running towards a man wearing a cop outfit. Dean smiled slightly even though there was a huge part of a story missing. Carl had told him that his dad was shot and he died.

Lori soon joined the hug. After a few minutes Dean finally decided to speak up. "Where the hell is Merle?" He asked bluntly.

The people that had gone on the run plus Carl's dad all looked at the boy. Some sympathetically and others regretfully. Dean harshly bit down on his bottom lip to keep from saying something he shouldn't.

"You're Dean?" Carl's dad asked but directed the question more so towards Glenn.

The Asian nodded as Dean started talking "is he dead? Who's fault was it? You best hope Daryl don't find out. He's a lot meaner then I am." He muttered, glaring slightly at the man.

"I'm Rick." Carl's dad spoke kindly.

Dean raised his eyebrows "really? I don't care. Where's my dumbass brother?"

Rick hesitantly placed his hand on Dean's shoulder. The boy looked at Rick's hand unamused and the Grimes man quickly removed his hand. "Your brother doesn't work well with others... I had to handcuff him to the roof."

Dean blinked a few times "you left my brother handcuffed to a roof? Damn, Merle was right, nothing ever good comes from the cops." And with that Dean walked off.

Rick looked around and Lori walked over to her husband. "He was right about one thing Daryl will be a lot meaner then he was... Which then again he was holding back, I'm sure."
