𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐆𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐍 𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐄 𝐈𝐓 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 a little while ago. Shane informed the group that Rick and Daryl would stay out and look around some more. Dean and Carl decided to go back to looking through cars. Only this time the two boys were separated.

Dean walked up to the car that had the comics in it. He slowly pulled the door open. He started moving the comics around to see all that's in the box.

Dean smiled shrugging. He scooted the box closer to him and lifted it up. He groaned, not expecting the box to be so heavy. Slowly by surly he managed to get the box to the rv. Dale stopped working on the rv and looked towards Dean who's face was bright red and he was struggling to hold the box up.

Dale chuckled and took the box from Dean. "What is all this stuff?" The old man asked, walking up the stairs of the rv followed by Dean.

"Comics. Me and Carl don't like your book collection. No offence." Dean's face scrunched up just at the thought of Dale's books. Which were all like sixty years older than him and Carl.

Dale laughed, sitting the box on the table by an arsenal. "None taken... And it's Carl and I." He corrected the Dixon boy's grammer as he turned to face him.

Dean crossed his arms and sent the man an unamused look. "What are you? The grammar police?" He muttered, narrowing his eyes.

Dale looked at the boy with a weird expression before shaking his head with a chuckle. "Just because the world ended doesn't mean we can forget good grammar."

The boy stared at him through narrowed eyes with his head cocked to the side. Did Dale forget who raised the boy. The Dixon's didn't do “good grammar”

𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐎𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 and Rick along with Daryl emerged from the woods. Rick was covered in a bit of blood and Sophia wasn't with the two. When Rick and Daryl stepped back over the rail Dean immediately ran over and stood at his brother's side.

"You didn't find her?" Carol asked tearfully.

"Her trail went cold. We'll pick it up again at first light." Rick told the woman.

"You can't leave my daughter out there on her own to spend the night alone in the woods." Carol shook her head.

"Out in the darks no good." Daryl spoke with a shake of his head. "We'd just be tripping over ourselves. More people get lost."

"But she's twelve. She can't be out there on her own." Carol cried and looked at Rick. "You didn't find anything?"

"I know this is hard. But I'm asking you not to panic. We know she was out there." Rick tried to calm the panicked mother down.

"And we tracked her for a while." Daryl added.

"We have to make this an organized effort. Daryl knows the woods better than anybody. I've asked him to oversee this."
