𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐋 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 by some rocks, the two had been talking but their conversion was cut short when Shane walked over. "Hey kids." The man said with a kind smile.

"Hey Shane." Carl happily said and Dean gave a small wave.

"You two wanna go catch some frogs?" Shane asked putting his hands on his hips.

Carl and Dean looked at ecahother and shrugged. "Sure." The two boys said in unison.

Shane led the two down to the quarry and the three begin.

Dean wasn't to confident that they'll catch anything but it beat sitting around bored.

"I'm not getting anything." Carl spoke up and Dean nodded.

"Yeah, me neither." He sighed.

"Yeah." Shane looked into the water. "Being all wily, staying submerged. Little suckers, they know something's up. That's what's going on."

Shane stood up and got his bucket ready. "Just going to have to do this the old-fashioned way. All right, little dudes, look. You are the—you are the key in all this, okay?"

The two boy nodded. "All I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go after one of them, all right, scare the rest of them off. They're all gonna scatter. I'm gonna drive 'em your way."

"Alright." The boys nod.

"What you need to do is you need to round ever bad boy you see, all right? Are you with me?"

"Yeah. Yeah." Dean and Carl nod.

"Hells yeah. Give me your mean face." Shane told the boys.

Both boys pull a face. "Yes sir. Are you ready?"

"Yeah!"

"Are you ready? Here we go, boy. Here we go." Shane got down in the water and started to ster things up while Dean and Carl used their nets to try and catch something.

"What ya got? What ya got?!" Shane happily asked.

The boys pulled up the nets to reveal nothing. "Dirt." Carl answered.

"Oh boy. All right, we've got to start over." Shane said and he started to look for the bucket.

"Hey, Carl," Lori walked over to the boys. "What did I tell you about not leaving Dale's sight?"

"But Shane said we could catch frogs, remember?" Carl asked holding his hands out in front of him.

"It doesn't matter what Shane says. It matters what I say. Go on back to camp. Both of you." Lori told Dean and Carl.

Carl sighed and the two boys started up the rocks. "I'll be right behind you.
