Quick A/N: The story is finally being continued! I successfully recovered and I am now able to upload again. Enjoy! :)

Flashback: Yam poured her heart out towards Jim and performed a song solely for her. But the question now is: Did she like it?

"I...", Jim said, making the room purposefully wait with anticipation. "I... I absolutely loved it, Yam! I never thought anyone would ever do such a thing for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love you soooooo much", Jim squealed, as she leaned against her best friend's chest.
"Oh, you'd seriously be surprised at the list of things I'd do for you; don't underestimate me", Yam laughed, wrapping her arm around Jim in a protective manner.
"Aww Yam, you're too kind", Jim responded, winking at her. The two shared a loving moment, looking at each other as if they were doing so for the first time in years.
"Alright, enough flirting about you two, let's get back to business", Ramiro provokingly stated, purposefully ruining the moment once more.
"Wow party pooper, you ruined it!", Jazmín pouted, defending her friends.
"Yea, don't judge us Ramiro, you're the one who flirts with Yam all the time!", Jim added, moving closer towards Yam, pretending to 'shield' her from him. But instead of feeling protected, Yam hid her face in embarrassment.

Secretly, she enjoyed each of every moment of Ramiro talking to her, whether it be flexing or flirting with her

Secretly, she enjoyed each of every moment of Ramiro talking to her, whether it be flexing or flirting with her.
The time she spent with him was time she cherished truly, but she figured if anybody ever found out she was in love with Ramiro, they would constantly tease her about it and that was something she tried to avoid at all costs, even if it meant lying to her best friend.
"Don't say that, Jim...", Yam quietly muttered, so that the girl next to her wouldn't be able to hear her.
"Mhm, what was that, Yam?", Jim questioned, busting Yam.
"Eh, nothing...", she dismissed it. "Not true, why would I feel the need to flirt with Yam all the time? We're only having fun", Ramiro interrupted them.
"Yeah yeah Ramiro, don't lie to us!", Delfi went against him as well, helping her friends.

"Anyway. Yam, I saw you get something from behind the stage. What was it, Blondie?", Ramiro changed the topic quickly, confronting her.
"Wow, could you be any more nosy?", Yam replied, visibly annoyed.
"Yes.", he answered, leaning back in his seat, causing Yam to roll her eyes.
"So, Jim...", she continued, turning her head from Ramiro towards her best friend while pulling something out from behind her back.
"these are the other gifts I was talking about.
I figured you might want something for the long run too, something that you can always look at and remember: this was an awesome day"
"No, stop, this is too muchhhhh", Jim complained childishly.
"Really, how many tricks have you got up your sleeves Yam?", Simón questioned her.
"Oh c'mon, I just really care about my friends, Simón! No offence", Yam answered him.
"None taken", he waved her little insult off. Everyone just started to giggle at their little argument.

"So uhm, here you go, Jim." Yam gently placed two little boxes on the table in front of Jim.
Jim, at first, took a closer look at their intricate designs, knowing fairly well that Yam must have hand-picked them just for her and she wanted to appreciate the effort.

The first box was significantly smaller than the other; in fact, it fit perfectly into Jim's tiny hand.
It was square-shaped and wrapped into purple wrapping paper with stars on it.
Tied to the present was a large pink ribbon and a little card with 'I love you' written on it with calligraphy hand-lettering.
The second box was rectangular in shape, wrapped into the same wrapping paper as the other, but it was decorated with a black ribbon instead.
Jim thought the presents were absolutely gorgeous, even the rest was in awe at their designs. Eventually, after a bit of thinking, she decided on opening the smaller box first, since it was too adorable to look at any longer.

Of course, her first step was it to shake the box, in order to see if it made a rattling sound. From the outside, this was so cute to watch. After noticing that the box indeed made a sound, Jim started fiddling with the edges of the paper, excited as could be. Jim played with the ribbon like a little cat at first, but in the end, she took it off and placed it on the table.
Afterwards, it took her a good minute to find a good spot to pull on, but eventually, she just ripped the paper open and freed the box from its shell.

Now in her hands was a petite, blue jewellery case. She carefully slid the lid open and underneath it laid a stunning crystal necklace with a little pendant at the end.
Upon further inspection, Jim noticed that the silver pendant had 'Jim and Yam ' engraved into it, which she found touching.
"Oh Yam, it's so...beautiful! I don't even know what to say. I love it!", Jim thanked her friend while deeply looking into her eyes.
But instead of answering, Yam simply pointed to the golden heart necklace on her neck. Almost like in a comedy show, a lot of 'wows' could be heard around the two.
"Aw, I-", Jim tried to respond, but she was quickly interrupted by a familiar voice speaking up from behind her.

"Need help putting it on?", Pedro asked her from behind, scaring Jim quite a bit.
Nobody had noticed that he had slowly gotten up and sneaked up behind her.
"Gyah!", Jim shrieked.
"S-Sure, Pedro!"
She handed him the chain over one shoulder and he carefully placed her hair on the other, so he could put the necklace on.
As the cold steel gently slid across her skin, Pedro closed the little mechanism at the back of the chain, which was easier said than done. Jim thanked him for his efforts, Pedro nodded back at her and he went back to his seat.

"Yam, seriously, this wouldn't have been necessary", Jim turned back towards her friend.
"Stop it, please", Yam tried her best to not give in.
"You deserve this for once. C'mon, just open up the next one, I'm sure you'll like it."
"Only if you promise that'll be the end!"
"...I promise."
"Sure", Jim stated, as she took the second box into her hands.
After the 'shaking test', she unwrapped the second gift as well.

Inside, was a photo album completely covered in glitter, titled 'Jim and Yam - the story".
As a reflex, Luna asked: "Is there 'Jim and Yam - the series' too?" "...not yet! Nothing's stopping you from filming it though!", Yam answered, amused.
"Hey, that's our job!", Delfi interrupted, making them laugh.
"Ok ok, you get to film it then...", Yam told her.

In the meanwhile, since Jim especially loved memory albums like these, she decided to flip open a random page, in order to get a good impression of the 'ensemble'.
The page she had landed on contained a picture that Jim had secretly taken of Ramiro while she had still had a crush on him.
It wasn't the most flattering overall, the picture had been taken through a dirty classroom window, since Ramiro stood in the hallway.
As a result, the picture was rushed, blurry and not very attractive either, but that hadn't bothered Jim a single bit, she was just happy to be able to add another picture to her collection. The caption read: '05/04: The day I realized you liked Ramiro of all people'.

After having read that, Jim quickly rapidly moved her hand over the text before Ramiro was able to read it. Luckily it seemed to have worked, since Ramiro only asked Yam where she had gotten the 'extraordinary' picture from.
"Wow, this could literally be an excerpt from my diary... did you read my diary?-", Jim asked her friend instead.
"Nope, I already know you a whole lot anyway, I don't need any help. Every month for the last two years, I'd always add a page to this book, as a memory. Now, it shows the, definitely not linear, path we have taken in order to end up where we are today", Yam said, while smiling. "You are the best. I don't even know how I'm going to make-"
"You don't, Jim", someone interrupted her, in a good way of course.
"C'mere", Jim said, as she pulled her friend into a deep hug that lasted about half a minute.
"So cute", Jazmín said to Delfi while zooming in on the pair.
"I agree!", the black-haired friend whispered back.
"Seriously, why did the best one come first? Now we don't stand a chance!", Simón complained.
"No, guys, I'm super grateful for all of your gifts!

Besides, it would be kind of creepy if you all were like Yam...", Jim answered him.
"Hey Jim?", Yam asked.
"Yeah?"
"About the repaying part, I'd have a... different idea in mind for that", she smirked.
"Yam!", the round yelled at her while she laughed her ass off, Jim blushing like crazy.

"Alright, next gift... please!", she pleaded.
