A cute cheer up
An hour had passed and it was officially noon, time to set the party up. The group had waited an extra hour on purpose, just to make sure Jim wouldn't accidentally come to the Roller earlier than anticipated. At 11:30, Yam changed into a blue knee-length dress with a glittery skirt, pairing it with silver heels. It was her part of the matching outfits Yam had designed for the girls. She also grabbed Jim's gift and the party decor and arrived at the Jam&Roller, the earliest out of everyone.
Upon arriving, she approached Pedro with full hands, greeted him and after some small talk containing the usual 'you look fabulous' from his side, Yam asked him what had happened when she left.
"Well, I managed to calm her down a little bit with my gift. I seriously felt so bad for Jim", Pedro admitted.
"I really hope the party will make up for all of this...", Yam doubtfully said. "Don't worry about it Yam, you're her best friend. It's less likely that she won't forgive you", Pedro grinned and got Yam to do the same.
"Seriously, we should be the ones worried, not you. She loves you truly. Every time I talk to her, she's always like 'Me and Yam did this' 'Me and Yam did that' 'Would Yam like this?' 'I hope she's proud of me.' You should see her smile when talking about you." Pedro successfully managed to make Yam regain her confidence.
"I have the best friend in the world.Hey uhm, I am just going to go get my guitar, ok? I left it by the lockers. Oh and, thanks. Somehow, you're always there when people need you the most."
"Heh, I guess I just have a knack for helping people. And also, yes, you guys are great together. Should I start decorating without you?", Pedro asked.
"Sure, here are the supplies." Yam handed him a large bag full of rosé-gold, gold and silver party decorations.
"Cyaaaaaaa! Actually, wait. Could you please put this on? I made matching outfits for everyone, Jim really loves that." She waved the bag in front of his eyes, it containing the outfit the boys were going to be wearing: a dark blue blazer, each of the boys having a different brooch at the pocket, resembling what made them unique. For Pedro in this case, it was a golden brooch of a drum. Simón's looked like a guitar, Gastón's like a microphone, Nico's like a bass and finally, Ramiro's simply resembled a music note.
Pedro thanked the girl and went to change.
In the meantime, Yam quickly rushed to the locker rooms, got a hold of her guitar and ran back to the main room, in order to place it on-stage. It was only part of a special surprise, since for some reason, Yam thought the rest just wasn't quite enough to thank Jim for being the most kind, understanding and loving person she knew.(This is a short chapter since I was too physically tired to type the second part. Next chapter is basically part 2 of this.)
