Chapter 21: TheEpicOnes' Reveal

"Alright, next gift... please!", she pleaded.

"Of course, Jim!", Luna answered excitedly.
"But wait, whose turn is it?", she added afterwards.
"Hm, I don't know, Jim",said Simón while shrugging.
"Lemme just-"
"No need for that, haha!", Yam interrupted her.
"I remember, it was you two, Luna!"
"Omg righttttttt, how did I forget?", Luna questioned herself.
"You were pretty adamant on-" "Leave her, Nina." Nina blushed, as Gastón reminded her of how much of her clutz her friend actually was.
"Cool, I was waiting for your gift, girls!", Jim stated, curious about what the most shy and the craziest girl could have possibly gotten her together.

(You know, I could skip these gift scenes, but I'm nice :))

"Here you go Jim!", Luna shouted, as she and Nina pulled their gift up from under the table and handed it over to Jim.
It was a small, golden envelope tied to a, roughly about, 30 cm tall bear plushie, making it impossible for Jim to maintain eye contact with the pair while thanking them, simply muttered into the bear's fur.
Ramiro found it so hilarious to look at, that he quickly pulled out his cell phone and snapped a picture of the moment.
After an intense squishing session with the bear (and afterwards firmly squishing Yam's arm too), Jim pulled apart the silver bow that tied the envelope to the bear's neck and caught the letter before it fell into her lap.
The envelope had been decorated with a lot of glitter, which Jim figured was Luna's doing, and in the middle was glued a cute sticker of Kirby holding a gift.
After Yam had put the bear onto her lap for space reasons, Jim held up the letter in order for everyone to see and Jazmín let out the most adorable 'aw' she had ever heard, causing Delfi to just stare at her, adored.
Since Jim was horrible at opening letters the correct way and figured 'she didn't want help', she asked Ramiro if he could hand her the knife which was forgotten to be taken back to the kitchen.
After he did so, she quickly grabbed its handle and wrecked the envelope with it, causing everyone to laugh.

Out of it she pulled a very thoughtfully decorated 'Happy Birthday' card, which she figured out  by the fact that 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' had been written on the front of it in all capital letters and multiple different coloured gel pens, and four mysterious tickets.
Jim thought nothing of it though and opened up the card first, which greeted her to some text and a very detailed drawing of a clown on the bottom.

"Wow Nina, did you draw this?", she asked while pointing at it.
"Oh, uhm, well...", she stuttered, not wanting everybody to know about her drawing skills.
"What she means is: yes she did and it looks awesome, doesn't it?", Luna answered for her.
"Don't say that...", Nina begged her.
"Why though?", Luna asked back, visibly confused.
"Yea. It's awesome!", Gastón cheered her up, causing her to blush rather than be embarrassed about her artwork.
"You think so?", Nina responded, curious.
"Absolutely! Seems like photography isn't your only speciality!"
"Heh, thank you", Nina thanked him, whilst fiddling with her hair as a distraction to cure her nervousness.

"Alright, can I read the card now?", Jim asked, aching to continue.
"Of course!", her group shouted back.
Now, Jim pulled the cards closer to her eyes and began to read:

"Hey Jim!

If you're reading this, Luna & Nina wish U a Happy B-Day!!!! 
"ooh this is good!", Jim added.

You are finally turning 18 and today, we made you this gift, in order for you to remember us celebrating this milestone with you.
We do hope you appreciate and enjoy our choice of gifts, even if they may not be as personally attached to you.

We wish U the absolute best and love U a lot, Jim!!! Have fun today!

Beneath the two names, Jim was able to make out the words 'and Nina's mum' written in very tiny handwriting.
It was obvious which one of the girls had written part of the card, considering the fact that they used such different ways to express themselves in writing.
Moreover, they used two different coloured pens.
Nonetheless, Jim loved the end product a whole lot, since it showed how much love it had been made with and so, she thanked the two for it deeply.
Upon closing the card, Jim picked up the four green tickets from her lap.
On them, she could clearly read what they were for as well: they were tickets to the newest concert in the area of Jim and Yam's favourite band; apart from the Roller Band, of course.
"OMG, guys, these are tickets for Yam and I's second favourite band's concert, ahh!", Jim squealed in excitement.
"OMG no way!", Yam chimed in, as the two did their infamous finger wiggling.
"Wait, what about the Roller Band though?", Pedro asked them.
"I thought you liked our music."
"Pedro, the Roller Band is our favourite and when you start giving concerts, I'll be the first one to book VIP seats, but this band is giving concerts already!", Jim answered him.
"Oh, glad to hear", Pedro laughed it off.
"Eek! How did you even manage to find these, girls? Yam's being trying to order them for us since day 1 they released, but we thought they'd already sold out! Omg, I still can't believe it! Yam, we've been wanting to go to one of their concerts for so long! Thank you so much!", Jim fangirled, also blowing her friends an air-kiss.
Ramiro just looked at her in complete awe, loving seeing her so happy.

"Well, we might or might not have 'overheard'", she visibly put that into quotation marks, "you guys talking about wanting to go", Nina stated, before biting her lip.
"...You know Nina, normally, I'd rant about privacy right now, but in this case: thank you for listening in on our conversations", Jim calmly scolded her, making the room giggle.
"Wait, why is there four cards though?", Jim asked.
"Jim, did you really think they'd let you go on your- ow", Ramiro snazzily remarked, before Gastón gave him a good kick to the leg.
"It wasn't meant like that!", Jim defended herself.

"Well, since we wanted to accompany you there, it was originally three, but then I remembered that you don't even exit school without Yam, so I made Nina buy a fourth one!", Luna exclaimed and pointed at Nina.
"Well, my mum actually bought them", she added politely.
"You are so considerate", Yam stated, a bit annoyed at their comment, but alas, just resorted to being happy about it with Jim once more.
"These must have been so expensive. I can't believe it!"
"Don't worry about the price, Jim! That's our thing", Luna laughed.
"Yay, us four can go together!", Jim smiled.

Little did she know that Luna and Nina would be ill on that day, so that Yam and her would 'conveniently' be alone that day. (May or may not become a OS one day, who knows)

"Ohh, I'm so excited to see my favourite band live for the first time... My favourite band after the Roller Band of course!", Jim smirked and Simón and Pedro, who just 'finger-gunned' her back.

PG18 joke incoming!

"Would you guys mind giving us a private session later?", Jim asked them, to which they happily obliged to.
"Woohoo! But, would you also be interested in a... private private session later as well?", said Jim while smirking.
While Simón buried his head in his hands, Ramiro just shouted back at her: "We all know you just want Nico in your pants, Jim!"
"Omg-" The rest was laughing their asses off at Jim's request, with Luna just holding Nina's innocent ears closed.
"Wow, you're 18 and suddenly super horny I guess! I didn't even know you had it in you!", Yam even yelled at her in between her laughs.
"You want a foursome?", someone yelled as well.
"Wait guys-", Jim couldn't stop laughing to end that sentence.
After everyone had calmed a bit, Pedro flirtaciously responded with: "Well, I believe Nico would be more than interested. Especially since 'you know what' would technically be legal now.
Not us two though, sorry. You are very pretty, but he's your man."
"No worries, it's alright. Also, thank you, you're flattering me", Jim said while making a gesture with her hand.
"But now that I think about it..."
"JIM!"
"Sorry, sorry!", Jim giggled while apologizing.
"Seriously, first you complain about Yam and now you do the same!", Delfi laughed.
"I mean...", Jim answered her.

"Well, uhh, to switch the topic back to something PG13 related, thank you a lot, girls! Now, we'll gladly continue with..."
