My Mate

The ten years were up and Taehyung couldn't wait to go back home! The last few years he sorted out himself nicely, started his own art studio and managed a small clinic while he was an intern. The dagger had magical properties in it and he got to find out what it was.

It is a ceremonial dagger, that the luna queen and alpha king would use to join hands and magic once mated. It can also be used to kill either one of them if they haven't found their mate. Knowing this Tae made a replica and infused some of his magic into it. So who so ever decided to use it, it wouldn't be of any harm to him or his mate.

Tae was packing his bag when he got a call from his dad,

"hey Papa, I'm now packing to come home, I'm so excited to see everyone I miss them so much",

"What about me pup? Don't you miss your papa?" his father said while fake crying on the phone,

"Of course I miss you dad, I mean who wouldn't miss your dramatic ass"

"Pup wash that mouth of yours with soap, you lill punk! Anyway I called to tell you that you would be going to meet us at the annual get together at the blood moon pack instead of coming home. Everyone in the pack house would be there" Tae eyes widened,

"If everyone in the pack house would be there then who would be watching the pack dad?"
"Don't worry, my beta Ellis would be in charge for the week that we would be away... So meet us there ok! Bye pup",

"See you soon dad".

Packing the rest of his things and zipping up the suitcase, he sat on the bed, making last minute changes for his flight. "Geez, this costs me a huge penny to change" saying to himself as he got up to grab his stuff and leave.
After a grueling ten hour flight with a two hour lay over, Tae finally made his way to the blood moon pack. Stepping out of his uber he watched in awe at the massive mansion in front of him. Thanking the driver for his help with luggage he made his way to the massive pack house.

Getting closer he could smell it, that world stopping scent, white lilly and cinnamon. Tae stood where he was on the path way and closed his eyes, inhaling deeply, taking it all in. He felt the presence in front of him and the aroma intensified thousand fold. Slowly opening his eyes he was met by Jungguks' red and yellow eyes, "Mate" they said in unison and in no time their lips were on each other's. Reveling in the sweet taste of each other, their lips were in sync, hands holding each other for dear life. Breaking the kiss although they didn't want to, "I've been waiting for you. For a very, very long time" Jungguk said as he pushed some of Taes hair back.
"I've found you" was all Taehyung could say as he smiled and admire his handsome mate.

Taking Taes' luggage in one hand and holding Taes hand in the other, they walked and talked while heading into the pack house, getting to know eachother. While inside, he was greeted by Namjoon, Chan and Jackson. Everyone was in awe of Taes beauty and his contagious boxy smile, Jungguk couldn't help but feel more than proud for his mate. His... Luna! His smile faltered at the fact that Tae is his luna, queen luna and now he wonders if he knows it or not. Jungguk was lost in thought until he felt a spark through Taes touch, "Are you ok?" Tae asked and Jungguk immediately replied, "We need to talk".

Entering the bedroom, Jungguk dropped the luggage and sat on the couch, tapping the side for Tae to sit.
"I am the alpha of this pack," he started as Tae sat, "which means soon you would be the luna" he watched to see his reaction and then tae replied
"Go on.."
"I am not an ordinary Alpha, Tae... I'm - -"
"King alpha, I know," Tae interjected "I'm no ordinary either... I'm your queen luna, Jungguk" Tae smile lit the room and Jungguk was more than happy.
"I brought something," tae said as he went and unlocked his luggage, pulling out the dagger and the replica, "someone tried to kill a girl with this dagger, saying that they would never let the luna meet her alpha. We must keep this safe until its time and place this somewhere that the person could find it" Jungguk was more than puzzled, the dagger that he thought was lost was actually stolen and his mate made a replica of it.

Going to his floor safe he placed the dagger in and locked it. If his suspicion is right he knows they have not much time to do the ceremony, taking the replica from his hand he called Chan and instructed him to bloody, drop or throw the knife in unclaimed territory of all packs. If the rogues finds it, even better!
Chan was puzzled by the request but did it anyways, killing a deer to take back and with his strength threw the dagger in uncharted territory.
Jungguk showed the room that tae would be staying in and sent a messenger to his parents to visit the pack house in the morning. Tae parents knew that Jungguk was alpha, but the would be even more surprised to find out that he is the alpha king!

Neither of them wanted to separate but they had to, Tae needed rest and Jungguk needed to prepare for tomorrow's activities, with a satisfactory long kiss, Jungguk bid Tae good night and anxiously waited for tomorrow where he would be in his arms again. Both couldn't sleep a wink, their bodies were saying yes but their eyes refuse to shut close, anticipation high for tomorrow's events which by the way would be in a few hours.
Before you knew it, it was 6am and the sun was now peaking over the pack house, today is the day Tae would be introduced to everyone and also see his parents and jimin. Tae laid in bed for an hour before getting himself ready, Jungguk however was already getting some stuff done. He organized with the chef, breakfast for his pack members and lunches, got all the activities approved for the day and is now in his room changing his clothes to meet he soon to be in-laws.

Tae came down the stairs and followed the delicious aroma of food that had been prepared and Jungguk followed soon after. "You're up!" he said making the other turn and smile, "I didn't sleep a wink!" he answered as they pecked lips, "Good morning" Tae said and Jungguk happily replied.
Soon enough the pack house was full and it was time to introduce tae.
"Hey everyone this is Taehyung, my mate" Jungguk started, "Tae, this is Namjoon hyung, Jin hyung, Namjoon's mate, Hosoek hyung, Rachelle, Hoseok's mate Chan hyung and Alessia, Chan's mate" he completed as he pointed to everyone as they nodded and welcomed him. "Rachelle is a hybrid, she's wolf and witch! Cool huh!" he said as he pulled a chair for Tae. "Let's eat and start our day! We have plenty to do"
