Luna's Eclipse

Next Day

Lae was still present, refusing to let Taehyung take over. Which means that Jungguk slept on his bed while his mate slept soundly on the floor next to him in their bedroom.
Jungguk could barely sleep as what happened yesterday replayed in his mind, as well as not knowing if his pups are ok because their appa is here with him.

The sun did it's best to peak through the thick curtains of their room to announce that it's morning, but all Jungguk could do is watch his mate sleep, adorably sleep, like nothing had happened a few hours ago. Today is going to be a long day for them, funerals for those lost in battle, hospital check for those injured and of course the punishments for the rogues and their counterparts.
Lae was on his back sleeping, without a care in the world, after a thorough wash, rinse and repeat to get rid of the blood and dirt as well as an intense rub down with towels to dry his fur, he fell asleep as if the bath itself was tiring. Rubbing his mates belly to wake him up, Lae whimpered in annoyance,
"Babe, are you not taking your human form?"
Lae opened his eyes slowly and raised his head to look at his mate, then slowly putting it back down,
"I guess the answer is no"
'He's not ready to see you'
"Why?"
'He is sad and angry at the same time, so am I but not as much as him'
"Could you tell me why?"
'You hid so much from us, which was evident in the field last night'
"I did it to protect him, protect you"
'We trained hard to be by your side, to be your luna, the packs luna, it felt like we're useless to you' Lae got up without looking at Jungguk and began to walk to their balcony, turning around before jumping out
'we deserve to be by your side Alpha, not hidden', with that Lae didn't wait for a response and leaped out, landing solidly on the ground below, taking off for a morning run, leaving Jungguk on his bed half covered whispering "I'm sorry".

Lae came back in time for the formalities to begin as well as pack duties. While he was away he contacted his parents find out about the pups, so he was a little better in mood than before. His parents would be bringing the pups over so they could be with their alpha.
Arriving at the pack house, everyone greeted Lae and he responded while wagging his tail,
"Still wolf huh?" Hoseok asked,
"Jungguk told me this morning... I get what you're saying too. But you are his world, the way he talks about you... He's whipped, so I get where he is coming from too. You may not be an ordinary wolf, but you're his wolf, an alphas wolf"
Hoseok stroked Laes fur a bit before he left, leaving the wolf to wonder.

Jungguk went to the hospital first and soon was followed by Lae, the wolf entertained the pups who were waiting for their families to come out of visiting, while Jungguk spoke to them individually ensuring them the best care possible. Then it was the multiple funerals, Lae was by Jungguks side all the time, lightly bowing to the people he was introduced to. Many were stunned by their alphas mate, never had they seen such colouration and long tail, a true essence of a luna queen. Jungguk and Lae comforted them all, it was a tiring thing but it must be done, their families were there for them in the war and they need to be there for them now. All this took place and now it was 7pm, both of them tired but the best part is about to begin.

Jungguk instructed for the rogues to be lined up in the training grounds and to be tied in a way they would be immobile. That last one to come out was Alpha Mike, who was still frozen from the plume Lae gave.
Laes aura changed drastically when Mike was brought out, his fur behind his head were on end and a possessive low growl could be heard throughout the grounds and Jungguk knew why. Lae wanted nothing more than to shread him to pieces but he knew Taehyung would want to do it instead.
Watching all of them being lined up for their slaughter made some people cringe and others gleeful, Jungguk stared at them for a while and then back to his mate,
"My queen, what should we do as punishment" he asked as he stared at the big wolf beside him.
Exhaling a breath of air Lae turned to Tae, cracking his neck and joints, adjusting to his body again.
"I'll take them all on, leave Mike for last" Tae said as he stepped down and walked into the field where they were, leaving no room for discussion with his mate. He would show Jungguk how strong his queen really is.
Taehyung's eyes held fury, breath deep and fists clenched, he had the urge.... Bloodlust

"To be spared you must survive me, I am not holding back and no one would aid me... I'll take you all on myself... Survive, you leave" were Taehyung's words and it made Jungguk immediately walk forward,
"Hold him back! No one is to enter the field. Because no one would be leaving when I'm done" he whispered the last part, it was low enough for him only to hear.
This was never done before, one wolf against a hundred and an omega wolf at that. It would be considered suicide, but Taehyung had a sudden itch to scratch and it involves death!
A strong breeze blew through the field as there was only silence, no one uttered a word in fear of him lashing out, the queen luna... was a mad man.

Taehyung walked a positioned himself in the middle of the training grounds and watched the tied rogues and their accomplices,
"Make sure all exists are barred off," he watched as his order was carried out, then with an evil grin on his face,

"Untie them all!"
