Four Crystals And The Council

Morning came, on their eighteenth birthday, after their painting escapade, things have never been more great. It's the day they would magically split the crystal in four and the council would be chosen. The crystal would be fused with the quadruplets and they would be the caregivers until their last breath

The entire pack, present for the spliting and to see who would be the chosen ones for the council. Standing in front the pack mansion, Rachelle and Anais began their work to split the crystal. Thunder clouds rolled in as the process started and when a powerful lightening striked the crystal it split, into perfect jems. With this split a light ring was formed above the pack and everyone were in awe as the ring slowly came down around them.

Then like a beacon, twelve rays of light shone upwards indicaing the chosen. Namjoon, Lucas, Chan, Minho, Wooyoung, Woojin, Nick, Jackson, Mark, Cocona, Yoongi and Jennie were chosen, Jungguk noticed that the chosen were a few from his pack as they were loyal from the start, like Namjoon, Mark and Minho, a sense of pride took over him as he watched them be blessed by his daughter the now moon goddess. Now came the time for the crystals, lifting up her hands, Anais lifted the crystals as her three brothers stood by her side. She started chanting as the crystals entered their body one by one, fusing to the chest, arm, palm and forehead making them the ultimate species of wolf.

"These crystals are in the care of us, we vow to keep it safe, never use it's power for evil, never falter in our duties. We shall keep them safe till our last breath", was the oath the four took while bowing in front of the newly created council and the pack!
Everyone cheered and now it was time to celebrate, both the council forming and their birthday.

The celebration was in full swing but one person was not feeling like celebrating, Cassidy. Her head was filled with the words of her father before she entered the pack and not she is in a dilemma, she loves her mate and doesn't want to betray him and his pack, but she also loves her father, but it is more like fear. She fears him.
Tomoe was lookin for his mate since the Ceremony was completed, today would be the day that he would mark her and open their link. But an uneasy feeling was surrounding him since morning and something was telling hime it would have to be about Cassidy.

He finally found her, but she was talking to her self and he listened,
"I love him so much but I also fear my father, I love this pack so much but I also fear my father, I wanna protecr him so much bit I also fear my father" it was like a mantra she was repeating while staring at the forest, to engrossed to realize her mate was behind her.
"Cass?" he called out, breaking her daze, "are you okay?"

"I can't do this, I love you and I fear that my father would kill me if I dont do what he told me to"

"Your father will not touch you. I won't allow him to. But what had you so scared?"

Cassidy explained everything from start to finish, her father's plan. He willingly let them get the crystal and Cassidy knowing from a witch that she was his mate and left her there to be a spy to try and get the crystal when it was completed. Cassidy delayed sending messages to her father as much as possible because it was her first time feeling free and loved, now the crystal have split and found a new home without her father knowing, he would be bringing some rouges to claim the crystal tonight!

Word spread through the pack about an upcoming attack and everyone prepared themselves for the battle. The thing is, at the stroke of midnight Anais ascendance would begin as moon goddess and that is three hours away. The pack was now looking like an empty shell as if no one lived there in years, the sick, elderly, pups and others were in their hiding place protected and guarded but some warriors. The council, king and queen and their six children were in the top floor of their mansion looking out. Taehyung was holding one twin while Jungguk held the other as they were sound asleep. Lucas however was constantly smelling the air for the alpha that hid himself before.

It's 11.30pm and he got the whiff. His growl alarming everyone as they looked out.

"He did this on purpose, Anais is ascending soon and he know it. How low can you get?" Tomoe said as Cassidy stood next to him. Tomoe's crystal is located on his shoulder with white lightening like marks spreading from the center and lightly faded out. Cassidy never once tried harming anyone and she know she would be protected from her father.

"Give the crystal over, you do not deserve it then and you still don't deserve it now! That child of my blood doesn't deserve to live, she betrayed my pack" the alpha said, this time showing who he is,

"We have no 'crystal' and your daughter is no longer in your pack, she is my mate and deserves to be here!" Tomoe shouted. Lucas however really eanted to sink his teeth in but held himself back alot knowing his sister would end this once and for all.
Anais started to ascend and she took this opportunity to end the alpha, she knows he deserves no pack and his reign must end. The moon shone brighter as ever as she started to glow, her pale skin now looking milky white, a crown slowly created itself on her head as her clothes changed to royalty, the last dress she would ever wear. Anais was beautiful, the moon calling for her.
Standing up, smiling at her packmates, siblings and her parents, she smiled then turned to the moon and whispered some words as she faded in the light. Cassidys father and pack are now no where to be found.
