Be Kids, Four Once!

Five years gone by, the king and queen were enjoying their time with their little twin minions in the garden at the back, listening to them giggle as they chase different butterflies.

The crystal was completed after much debate and now it is in the halls underground vault. The quadruplets were taking their jobs in the pack more seriously than ever before, knowing that the alpha may be back sooner or later. The goddess daily drilling Anais in her training and use of her powers and how to choose blessings. Anais has been busy both night and day, at night studying history, the stars, moon phases and the gifting and during the day she exercise her abilities under the stern teaching of the goddess.

They have a little less than eight years before they would be fully taking their positions, Jungguk and Taehyung worry about that almost everyday. Their first borns never really got to be actual children like the twins and they are determined that they would let them do it before they turn eighteen. While the twins were in the backyard running wild, some omegas were making sure that nothing happens to them while the king and queen sort a plan.

"They never finger painted, never made friends, they didn't even get to enjoy the fest. Jungguk it's so unfair for our babies"

"I know love, watching them grow so soon. It was like just yesterday I held Anais as a puffy fluffy pup, now she has endless power and gaining wisdom beyond our years, long hair... I didn't get to dote on them properly"

"We must let them be kids, what can we do?"

"Well why not paint, we could get a huge canvas made and go to town on it?"

"You just want to make a mess"

"A playful mess!"

"Sounds like a plan"

"Let's get it!"

A few days passed and the canvas arrived, with pints of different colored acrylic paints, it was a 20x20 foot canvas and it was a pain to get it in the back where it had more space. Those in the mansion were quite intrigued by the huge prepped white wall of a canvas and the twins were only occasionally running and touching it out of curiosity.

"Dad, what's this for?" Meco asked with a full mouth while coming out with a sandwich in his hand,

"It's for us, it's a canvas. We're going to paint!"

"We?"

"Yes we. You, me, your mother, sister and two brothers... We!"

"Ummm, yea no. I don't paint"

Jungguk looked at him with a so done face,

"Stop talking with your mouth full and go get your mom and the other three, tell them to wear something old too!"

Meco left but was in complete denial that anyone would have wanted to do what his dad just said, but surprise surprise the five walked out as they admire the large canvas,
"Baby you got it! Nice" Taehyung said as he watched how it was constructed,
"Yea I did... So how should we start?" he asked making his four diamonds watch quizzically, Tomoe actually pointed at his father with a 'did you hear what he just say' look to his siblings.
"Kids open the paint lids, were gonna paint. Using our hands or feet or body if you prefer" Taehyung said as he began opening lids,

"Why?" Lucas asked

"Because you never realy got to be actual kids, we never got to spend kid time with you and we want that, this canvas will be our memory. A kiddy fun memory" Taehyung said and you could hear the hurt and sadness in his voice. Tomoe was the first to step up to the plate and help open the canisters of paint admiring the vibrant colors, his admiration turned to playful war when he felt Taehyung smear the liquid down his back.

Splashes of color were all over the canvas, ground, part of the pack house, some flowers... Everywhere including themselves as they laughed and continued to paint, a memory worth a lifetime. Tired and breathless, they sat on the grass and admired their art work and what a piece of art it is,
"It's beautiful" Taehyung said as he leaned on Jungguks shoulder and every one agreed,
"Let's sign it!" Jungguk responded
"How? Anais asked
" This canvas is specially made, use your palm in the black paint and stamp it with a little of your gift, you'll see!"

Meco was the first to get up and palmed the black ink, looking for a place he decided the bottom right corner would be ideal. Placing his palm on the canvas he released some of his power, after removing his palm the center of the inked hand on the canvas changed showing his gifted element,
"Woah, so cool! " he said as the ink immediately dried and showed a silvery black, everyone else followed suit and the canvas is now complete!

Rachelle came outside and watched the mess that was made by them while whistling in astonishment,
"What a big mess for a big family! Nice art though! So, where are you gonna put it? Asking for a friend" she said as she watched the entire thing.
"Well ummm" Taehyung started and cleared his throat, "I was thinking that you could reduce it a little for us? Please" he was practically begging at this point with the anticipation of being blasted out verbally,
"Ok sure" was her only reply
"Wh-what? No snarky comebacks, no ripping, no nothing? Just. Sure?" Taehyung was shocked and so were the others,
"Uh yeah, our doctor said for me to take it easy, so you're getting away from my sass Mr Jeon Taehyung... How small you want it?"

"Could I have it as a 32inch square? That would be great"

"Ok, just remember, no going back when i change it!"
Taehyung nodded his head confirming his decision and watched how the once 20 foot canvas turned into a 32inch one. Their hand prints looking to adoreable at the corner of it, taking the opportunity Taehyung turns the canvas around and wrote, 'Date: 20131231, with my mate we brought into this world our four beautiful gifts, Anais, Tomoe, Lucas and Meco.'
