The Lunar Eclipse

A good few weeks had passed and Taehyung was feeling weird, sometimes its a massive headache that he couldn't even open his eyes and other times he was just to tired to lift a finger, but his main concern were his eyes and body changes. His once brown orbs were slowly starting to loose their hue and turn purple, he became more muscular but still had the feminine figure, his wolf had also grown quite large as well.

Taking these changes were because of him wanting to protect his pups, well except for the eyes changing, he would worry for a short moment and then pass it off as something small.

Four days left to the eclipse and Taehyung was in his bed trying to sleep, but failed as he felt too hot for comfort even though the ac is on its lowest setting. Uncovering himself, he closed his eyes and the minute he did that, multiple voices came into his head. It was loud and unbearable, but one of them stood out, it was angelic and had some static to it. Trying his best to focus on that voice, it became to difficult to bear and he quickly opened his eyes, breathing heavily as if someone knocked the breath out of him.

Jungguk on the other hand was in the training grounds, monitoring the alphas and deltas while they fight so he can strategically place them to ensure the everyones safety, his mate had shut the link after telling him that he wasn't feeling all that well and there was nothing to worry about. His body was in the training grounds but his mind was on his mate and pups, being snapped out of his trance by Yoongi, he then listened attentively to his words and proceeded to give instructions.

Jungguk got more tired by the day, not only because of training but because of his abilities, other than shadow manipulation, he had lightening, which was new. Being able to produce lightening through his fingers was quiet a game changer when he first noticed after he shocked a few of his pack members by accident and all this began when he came back from being with his mate and pups. At night Jungguk felt cold to the point that the ac was turned off and yet it wasnt enough, his second in command got worriedfor him and he just played it off as a slight fever.

One day to lunar eclipse, both Taehyung and Jungguk were restless, the urge to be with their mate stronger than ever. It was practically driving them nuts and their pups were on edge as if they know what's coming. Taehyung's mother came in the room all suited up in her winter gear,
"Geez its cold"
"Hey mom, whats up?" Taehyung was in a vest and shorts, the heat for him was so unbearable that his father installed a bigger unit just for him.
"Sweetie, is everything ok? You've been having nightmares lately and your new powers are stronger than ever"
"I'm fine mom, it's okay. I've been training with my powers and getting the hang of it, also the nightmares has reduced"
Taehyung's mother was pleased to hear this and placed her hand on his shoulder, at that instant she got her future sight back and saw the battle between the rogues and his mates' pack.

Taehyung sensed that she saw something and littered her with questions, hearing what she saw he knew he had to be there, for his mate win, lose or draw. The battle would commence tonight after the moon rises and it would only be a few minutes before the eclipse begin. Little did he know that this lunar eclipse was meant for him.
Quickly organizing for his pups to be taken care of by his parents and some pack members, Taehyung prepared himself to leave without sayong a word to Jungguk, which was a good thing, if Jungguk doesn't know then no one will know.

Taehyung was being driven to Jungguks pack which was seven hours away, although they share the shadow manipulation, Taehyung never perfected it, so better take the long way there.
It is now 6pm and the sun has set, making way for the moon to rise and after the moon has risen the eclipse will begin. It is now 7:30pm, Taehyung has two more hours before he gets there, but the eclipse will begin in a few. He is uneasy in the back seat as he feels the temperature rise like an internal fever, breathing heavily he removed his shirt and wind down the window to feel as cool as possible, it didn't help and he told the driver to stop. Coming out of the car he struggled to keep himself upright, hearing the worry in his drivers voice, he tried to talk but nothing came out, his body main function was to breathe as much as possible.

The eclipse had started and the sensation to shift was immense, hearing the driver talking to his parents of what is happening, Taehyung mustered all he could not to shift, but that went for naught as his bones stared cracking and shifting, the lunar eclipse and his wolf has taken control. His shift was complete at the peak of the eclipse and thats when he heard the angelic voice loud and clear.
'Win the battle, be there for your mate and merge all packs. I the moon goddess release all power to you!'
His fur glistening under the strangely odd purple eclipse all fur black except for his paws, tail and ears. He is now an immense wolf twice the size of the car he was traveling in. Feeling the surge of power within him he released a dominant howl that sent shock waves throughout the area he was in.

Linking his parents, he told them he is okay and would be going to battle on foot from where he was standing. With no hesitation he ran off, direction, his mate and the battlefield.

'Where are you?'
'Taehyung?'
'Yes, where are you?'
'Open territory south of our pack, why'
With a growl 'I'll be there'
Taehyung knows that wherever Namjoon is, his mate would be there and he can't wait to sink his teeth into those who made them separate.
