Connection

It's been a few days and Taehyung was still a smiling fool as he rubbed his non existent baby bump. His pregnancy will go fast, like four and a half months, compared to others which is six months.
"Haven't you told him yet?" his mother asked as she saw him rubbing his belly, "No i haven't, I'm going to tell him today."

Meanwhile, Mike came back to the pack to see the alpha was marked, to say he was livid would be a lie. Walking to Jungguk,
"Alpha -"
"That's king alpha to you"
"Y-yes yes, king alpha. Congratulations on finding your mate, may I know who she is?"
"As a matter of fact here He comes, sweetheart, over here!"
Alpha Mike was confused, thinking the queen would be female. Looking at the direction Jungguk was facing his eyes went wide. Lee Minho walking towards them with a very menacing look on his face, what ever happened before, made him grumpy.
Standing next to Jungguk, Minho wrapped his arm around Jungguks waist, "Babe this is Alpha Mike, Mike, meet my mate Lee Minho"

Mike stuck his hand out for a shake but Minho watched it in disgust, leaned forward a bit and took a whiff, "He is not a member of this pack, technically he's an alien," he started as he looked directly into Mike's eyes, "do you plan to be in this pack or should I consider you a passersby?" The tension was dense, dense enough to cut circles in, Mike didn't like the fact that, one, he didn't get to eradicate the luna and two, the luna is a total bitch.
"Baaaaaaabe be nice, he helped look after me before I took head alpha position" Jungguk was nuzzling his 'mates' neck to appease the male, who acted like it worked.

Mike slowly made himself absent from the now empty conversation 'that male will never see tomorrow!' he thought as he secretly left the pack to head to his own.

Evening came and the group was in the pack mansion chilling. They managed to get their duties done early and decided to hang out together. Jungguk was laughing at a little ' tea' that was shed about Hoseok, which left him a blushing mess. Jungguk laughter was cut when he received the link from Taehyung and he just couldn't believe what he heard.
"Rach, could I talk to you a moment, in private?" he asked, which made her a bit confused but she complied. Walking to the kitchen, "Taehyung just linked me and he doesn't sound to good, now that we are connected what can I do?"
"Simple... Go to him"
"Go to him?"
"Yeah, go to him"
"His pack is far from here, I would literally have to drive over-"
"No you don't"
"W-what do you mean?"
"Did you ever wondered, whenever you look at yourself in wolf form you always see mist? You're a shadow wolf Jungguk, you just needed your luna to strengthen your ability."
"Holy shi-", receives intense glare
"Shiitake mushroom!"
"So go to him, clear your mind, think about him, I'll turn off the light to give you darkness and picture yourself standing by him. You'll be there. I'll call him to let him know that you're coming"

Jungguk nodded his head as Rachelle dialed up Taehyung, although she could link him, it would be better to call. Watching as Jungguk started to concentrate and close his eyes, Taehyung picked up, "Hey Tae can't stay long, just letting you know to stand in a place where your shadow would cast. Jungguk is coming" she didn't wait for Taehyung to reply and hung up. Seeing that his body started to look misty she turned off the light, waited a few then turned it on, to see Jungguk had disappeared.

Back at Taes house, Taehyung was more than confused about his recent phone call and was walking to the garden, he was already planning to go there anyway. Sitting on the bench not to far from the fountain, he was unaware of the huge shadow he casted, blissfully taking in the cool breeze and the smell of night blooming jasmine and angel bells. While the smells were pleasing, a particular soothing scent took his nose, a scent he knew to well, his mate. Opening his eyes, he saw from his shadow, Jungguk rising as if he was in an elevator, Jungguks eyes were closed as he was in full concentration until he was completely out of the shadow and standing firm.

Opening his eyes slowly, he met a shocked and breathless Taehyung, "Babe, my love... I'm here!"

It took Taehyung a hot second to get himself back to reality and compose himself properly after what he just saw. Clearing his throat, "B-babe, you're here... You're actually here! H-how exactly?" his question was combined with his quizzical expression and tone,

"I'll try to explain later love... But what's wrong you sounded so worried when you linked me!"
Taehyung bit his lips to avoid his smile,
"Sit, I have something to say"
"What happened baby, please tell me"
"Calm down, calm down,. I went to the doctor and-"
"Oh my God did I hurt you? Are you hurt?"
Taehyung had enough at this point,
"Baby, could I talk... Please?"
Jungguk vigorously nodded his head and waited for his mate to speak,
"So I went to the doctor and... I'm pregnant."
Jungguk was silent, the way Taehyung broke the news sounded so casual that he didn't pick it up at first.
"Babe? Jungguk? My God did I break him?"
"P-pregnant? Y-you're pregnant? You're pregnant! My baby is pregnant!"
And just as Taehyung guessed, Jungguk was more excited about the news than him. Asserting his dominance, Jungguk turned into a wolf and gave his alpha call in Taehyung's pack and all who were in wolf form responded, Taehyung hid his face shyly from his mate excited action.

The black wolf walked to Taehyung and nuzzled his belly wanting to be close to his unborn pup. Upon doing that they both felt an additional connection in both magic and wolf, Taehyung, while petting his mate as he lay down to rest his head by Taes belly,
"Do you feel that Van, that's your pup! You're going to be a father soon"
Van linked, "My mate and now my pup! I'm so excited, thank you for this wonderful gift"
