Crowds shouted and screamed, horror in the air.
"What is happening?" I asked the young lady, still holding onto my arm.
"I have been told to protect you, now stay with me!" She said whilst pushing through the crowd, leading us into a dark room full of terrified people.
"Please tell me!" I said, getting aggravated.
"We are under attack, Russian nuclear bombs are coming and we failed to stop them!" She said, panick prominent in her voice.
"Nuclear bombs, we are all going to die!" I said.
"Not if they get everyone in here in time so they can shut the door!" She shouted over the sound of screams.
"Where is everyone else?" I asked.
"In the main building in the cells, they are safe don't worry. I know you know about your parents! They are fine they are in the main building patrolling our air space on the computers!" She said.
"Will they be ok?"I stopped. "Will we all be ok?"
"We don't know 100% where they will land, Northern Ireland, Scotland, here, we just don't know. They could have changed the distance by now".
"Oh, but what about everyone else?"
" They will be fine, I think!"
"My school, it's in Manchester, will they be ok?"
"A nuclear bomb can have a big impact and if they are sending out three then who knows. You know about the tree stages right?" She asked.
"Of a nuclear bomb?" She nodded her head." Yeah I do!"
" Are you hungry?" I nodded my head. "Follow me!"
"Ok", I replied.
I could hear my heart beating, others too. A scream came from outside the now shut doors and I turned back to see if anyone was helping.
"Did you hear that?" I asked
"What?"
"The girl screaming from outside!" I replied, getting worried.
She shook her head.
"Well are you not going to do anything about it!" I suddenly remembered the boy on the train, the one who didn't give me his name but gave me his number.
The room started to heat up and people started to faint.
"What's your name?" I asked, panicking.
"Amy!"
"Oh ok, Amy?"
"Yes!"
"Look behind!" I ordered. "Now!"
"Oh no that isn't good, we are in the second stage!"
"Your death is slow and painful" I said
"Correct!" She replied adamant.
"Where are we going now?"
"Something has gone wrong!" She said. "Wait here!"
I waited for 10 minutes and she never came back, I walked further up the ramp, a wave of heat hitting my face.
"Jessica, stay there!" She said, whilst opening the gate.
"What are you doing?"
"Sacrificing myself for your parents"
I looked through the crack, the sun shine straight through my eyes, almost blinding me. So this was what it was like in the life of someone working for MI5.
