"Can I help you?"
"A ticket to London please!" I told the lady behind the desk.
"Here you go, it arrives in 3 minutes", she explained whilst handing me the ticket.
I rushed down the stairs, banging into every person I walked past. A text came through; Hi Jess where the heck are you, I'm worried call me when you get this. Please!!!
Mia. Xx
I switched my phone off and boarded the deserted train. A man sat across from me, his face solemn, he stared out the window before looking down at the table. He didn't look old, but he acted it.
"Are you ok?" I asked. " I feel the same really."
He turned round and looked at me. A smile grew across his face, for once I felt like I had done something good for someone else, rather than doing everything for myself.
"Yes thank you". He paused. " I have just split up with my girlfriend so I'm heading back down to my parents".
"Oh, sounds complicated!"
"What about you, you don't look much better than me!" He said laughing.
"Haha, thanks! No I'm just going for a day, you know just to take a bit of time away. Sometimes it gets a bit much."
I stared at his face, studying his features. He had eyes a deep, rich blue and soft brown hair that framed his face.
"How old are you?" I asked.
"15, but I turn 16 in two weeks! How old are you then?"
"14, but I'm in year 10!" I replied.
"I hope I don't sound rude but honestly, I thought you were the same age as me! He said, laughing.
"Really?"
"Yes!"
"Oh" I said giggling, my face blushing.
"I hope I didn't offend you!"
"No, of course you didn't, I see it as a compliment!"
"Would you like to exchange numbers, I'd like to know more about you!" He asked
"Yeah sure I said!" A little uncertain.
"Don't look so worried, please" He stopped, "I'm not trying to stalk you!"
"Oh no, I'm just a bit more wary now, you know after all those stories!"
"Well you don't have to. I don't want to push you into doing something you don't want to!"
"It's fine, honestly. I'd like to know more about you!" I said blushing again.
He leaned in to kiss me but I stepped back, loosing my footing. He caught my by my arm, and lifted me up gracefully on my back.
"I best be getting off", he said, as we pulled up at Paddington station. I stepped back and sat down in my seat until the carriage pulled up at Kings cross. I stepped out, the breeze hitting my face, shocking me. I searched up for the MI5 headquarters, hoping directions would come up. A text message came through:
You know how to hack into things, use that gift of yours!
Anna.
I walked into the nearest cafe, ordered an iced latte, and sat down at a table. Racking my brains, I decided on what was right: I would hack into the website.
Access granted. I clicked on the map, a wide green image flashing up on my phone screen.
5 minutes away from destination, turn left. I followed the directions taking me to a remote building in the middle of southern London. It was black and the windows were blacked out, making me extremely suspicious. If these are my parents, what will I say to them? What if they aren't and I make a fool of my self? I opened the heavy door, pulling all my force on it whilst I entered the passcode I found online. I entered a dark room, alarms went off, people screened and shouted.
"We're under threat, go!" A young woman infront of me shouted.grabbing hold of my arm. "Follow me!"
I don't think Anna was a liar, she just saved my life.
