Jake

She's beautiful, funny, and so much trouble. It's getting to the point where I can't get her out of my head. What is she doing to me?

I contact my friend Shelly. She's around my age 26 and I've known her forever. She'll know what to do I'm sure.

Jake: Hey, you busy tonight?
Shelly: That depends, what did you have in mind?
J: Wanna get a drink?
S: You buying?
J: Sure.
S: Cool, I'll see you tonight!

Maybe She'll be able to give me some insight on what's going on in my head.

I walk out to the parking lot and pull out my keys, I unlock my car and sit down. Ever since I met her my life has turned into one big cluster fuck. I slam my hands down on my steerwheel and yell out "Fuck!" I'm falling in love with a highschooler. Oh, what do I do now?

Later that evening I go to the bar the same bar I met Melinda. I walk in wearing a button up shirt with no tie, rolled up sleeves, a couple buttons undone, and jeans, and shoes. A little strange for me but I don't care. I look nice.

Shelly walks in wearing a tiny silver dress paired with her strawberry red hair she has guys falling on their knees. She's a knockout.

She walks up to me as all eyes are on her she comes up and kisses my cheek "Hey Jake how are things going?"

I look her in the eyes and tell her "Not so great. My new job isn't what I'd expected."

She looks at me confused "What do you mean?"

So I told her everything from meeting Melinda in a bar, to the fact that she's 18 and a student.

She looks at me wide eyed and a bit concerned "Well, Jake, a student?"

I look at her with shame in my eyes "Yeah."

She talks with a concerned but comforting tone "Well you need to figure out what to do, you going to keep this a secret and risk your job?"

I sigh, "I don't know that's the problem."

She looks at me with sympathetic eyes, "You got this Jake I know you do."

I hope she's right.
